Only if you can go out to dig/hunt without the mobs kill you again; I'm lvl 54 and yesterday take 38.000 death penalty, a lot for me. It's pretty annoying. And yes, you can be proud of your scars, the life it's though, blah, blah. I play for fun, and I can assure you this is NOT fun at all for certain players.
totnkopf wrote: As for events like this... embrace them. They're a rarity and something that you'll long for when they're not around. Whining that you couldn't get xp for a week is pretty lame... if you can't notice the bright blue mobs, then I suggest being more cautious in the future. Its possible to do everything you could before, you just have to be a bit more cautious and actually take time to set up yur hunts, not just go running willy nilly into a spawn and expect to be ok.
It's pretty impossible got to certains places. Moreover, the places where the blue mobs appear are random, so you can't learn it. And the mobs have a very long sight, and it's almost impossible take one alone, so if you play solo at low level (50-70) it's almost impossible survive an accidental encounter.

I know this game go about teaming, but I can assure you that at low level it's pretty hard. I have no personal friends in game, and the most of my guild are >200lvl, so if I group with him take xp is hard.

My complaint go about think a little in the low-level and, in the main roads between the villages and the nearbies, put hard encounters, but encounters that a lvl 50 can handle, even if difficult (2 blue mobs instead 3), and deepest in the wild, put more level/number encounters.

You can think this is a pretty good week for you, i'm sure. But for me and and for a lot of NEW players it's the "craft or do whatever you want in the town and if you wanna go another village risk you to die" week. I was making missions to raise matis and kara fame, and I have to stop to do that for a week because the event.

I'm sure they can do the event as funny as it is, and least annoying for the pretty big group of solo low level players.

Team up, kill kitin, get points and specials, titles and stuff.

Some of the periods when I advanced the most were special events.

there is nothing to stop a group of new players teaming up and joining in with this invasion. nothing at all, if you dont know anyone then talk to people! It's a time for homins to come together and face the kitin threat not worry about doing what you normally do.

gah i am starting to repeat myself, but seriously these events are at least 6 months apart. They are accessable for everyone so stop whinging and enjoy it, and if you have no ability to have fun then maybe you should consider that its you with the problem not the game..

For all who didn't get it by now, they are talking about Cho! The new server, an international new server, wich means there are only a few players online at the same time, most likely in different regions. It really doesn't help to be told to "team up" if there's no one around!

The spawns do seem to be in the same place each time i have logged in.

It is possible to sneak round some places, just takes patience and a bit of dp :P

As others said, its been years since we had a kittin invasion and the majority of older players have been waiting for one.

Finally, cant be bothered to go rooting out the thread, but there are posts since cho opened asking for it to be treated the same as all the other servers.

This event is one week long, its been a very long time coming, and I dont think its a long time to wait for it to be over if you are not enjoying it.

Folks it´s only a Week.

And not even a full Week anymore.

And it´s only a Game!

A game that is about imagining yourself in a strange and dangerous world.
A Refugee helping to rebuild his/her civilization from the ruins of an even bigger assault from the Kitin.
Why do you play? Just to zooom through levels?
Well, let me tell you that this isn´t what any MMORPG is realy about. Not even Wow.
If you must, you can play it this way. But you don´t have to.
If you use your imagination you´ll have your toon accept that an old thread to all of hominkind has risen again from the depth and you might try and help doing something about it.
Or, you could sit back a while, ingore your "Game" for a week and then come back, when eveything´s normal again. Where´s the problem with that?

Oh, and please don´t come demanding refunds from Nevrax or somesuch.
Invasions are an integral part of this game.

I experienced my first Invasion when I was in the same place as you.
I dind´t even consider unsubscribing. I found it exciting and exhilarating!
I was part of history.
I helped repell that invasion, even if I was only in the backrow of higher level Players doing what I could with my lvl 45 Heal.
But I was accepted and had a load of FUN! :)

So please folks, look at the Game you play and think about if there just could be another, more suitable way to play it, then just being horny on Levels. ;)

I'm far from considering unsubscribe, I can assure that.

But I think that my opinion is shared between many other new players, and it's something like this: Ok, do it, c'mon, but in the most common low-level places make it a littler easier pass without mobs killing you.

The idea of have to team up to kill kittins and take titles is fine for me, what is very bad is that, if you don't want or can't do a team (I only can connect at very nigthly hours, with very few people, and usually no one of my level, from my guild and in my region) that the mobs don't kill you every time you try to go another village to do a standard mission.

For a whole week.

And, this places where the kitins mob can be a little more dispersed are only the basic roads between the basic villages in the basic land of each kingdom (Magestic gardens, the roads between Yrkanis - Davae - Avalae - Natae, for example).

Will this little improvement damage the RP, the story or somethin? I think not; but for a lot of people it could be a great improvement.

All of you say that this is a great community; I'm sure; but if someone gives a suggestion to do something better the next time, and everyone of the older players go mad with him... that's no so good.

A kitin invasion started the day that i joined, I was level 0. Two years later and im still here, and I still have the event axe that I earned during the invasion.....and by the way, that time the mobs came INTO the cities, so consider yourself lucky really.
