The resources needed to make one is make one is at least 216 q250 choice mats + degrades. So adding some minimal degrades, one needs about 250 mats to produce a set. Assuming a going rate of 8000 per mat, it may cost an equivalent of 2 million dappers to produce. Add to that whatever the armorer wants to charge for labor and the long grueling climb to master HA crafting. :)

I don't make any q250 ha, I'm just giving you some numbers for comparison. You may well find much cheaper sets on the market.

Edit: Thanks for the correction Kyerna. :)

Psst Riveit, it's 216 materials without degrades for high quality. ;)

I'd say there's various factors you would need to keep in mind to determine 'fair' price.

For starters it depends a lot on what you are exactly after in statistics and looks for 'grinding gear'. Would you need a parry/dodge modifier, higher pf and specific vs protections for fights against specific mobs, colour, ... The crafter will need to balance out the materials carefully to fullfill your requests, and that means foraging specific materials. Materials that may not always be easily accessible, and usually ... if it's ql 200+ sets you're after, can be a downright pain to get them without dieing to much. (Underspring and Lagoons of Loria comes to mind; you got to love high density aggro mob spawns)

On top of that you really ought to keep in mind that not every crafter has mastered Prime Roots foraging or all other terrains. The racial plan and colour of the set you choose could mean the crafter will have to call on others to supply him, who will possibly want to get some payment in return if they have to risk their hides for specific materials again.

And then ofcourse there's time investment in getting those materials, the possibility of hiring guards, the dieing underway, Trykers sensing profit with foreign customers and jacking up the price because of their accent, the failrate of the crafter, ...

Granted, this is possibly the worst case scenario of any craft at the higher ql levels. It just depends on the customer's demands. ;)

My guess would be that you'll easily pay around 400 to 1200 materials (or equivalent) for your grindset from a master crafter or someone with very little fails, depending on specifications and the person in question.

just something i'd like to react too, been doing it in the past myself, still doing it for my closest friends for free. BUT i feel its wrong to do it for everyone in the world as it prevents income for starting HA makers. so basicly i feel master ha crafters still should ask something to keep economy going.

2ndly damn i've been asking not enough it seems for my ha's. i place excellent grind sets on dyron market on 350-450% wich would make the price around 2500k - 3000k. it are choice upgraded excellent ones, nothing special.
