Seeing as material specializations will provide a "boost in the speed at which the quality raises from 0 to the specified quality" after the patch, http://www.ryzom.com/?page=releasenotes&id=21 , please remove specializations from our characters and refund the SP points when you patch. Going from 0 to desired quality faster is not an important skill, and not what we purchased those specilizations for. This feels like a bait and switch.

Im hoping when they nerf skills they offer a refund on them, because I have every extraction spec and I wouldnt have got them if it didnt raise the ql. I dont care how fast I get to the max ql at all. Basically im not that mad they nerfed the skill but please offer a refund on the skill points. This should go for any skill that is majorly changed, if its needed fine, but refund the skill points!

Hmm i thought i already spent points on aggressive rate to get a 'boost' in speed to reach a desired quality, so this skill does the exact same except that it reduces aggroness?

Feh, it's just a temporary measure til the patch revamps harvesting. Calling for refunds right now is a little hasty, let them implement the patch, then if the skills remain as limited as they are right now ask for a refund.

Don't you just love it when they fix things that aint broke, and ignore the bugs that have been in this game for over a month now? Hello? anybody actually working on the bugs?
1. Display for armor/weapon dodge and parry bonuses don't work.
2. Display for jewelry resist bonuses don't work
3. Tryker resources for ql 100 and 150 are still missing
4. Tryker islands still have invisible walls that make it impossible to walk on the shore.
5. Mobs displaying are still bugged so sometimes when they attack you, they are still very far away on your screen and you can't melee them.
6. When you disengage and run into the water, sometimes you end up underwater.
7. The items in your bag and pack meklouk still doesn't stack.
8. Spell sap crystals still don't show up until you craft something.
9. Missions still mysteriously disappear even though you have not abandoned them and they are not timed.
10. Factioned NPCs attack you randomly sometimes even with good factions.
11. When crafting with craft 3 or 6, the crafted item is always 1 ql level below the mat ql even though there is no degration message.

Ready again what people wrote. Changing mat spec to letting it raise the speed it raises to the max quality IS what is planned for patch 1. It's not the temp measure people are complaining about, it's the planned longterm one.

Yes, but the changes in the patch may change the value of that ability is what i'm suggesting. In other words, be patient, wait to see what else changes, and make judgements then.

I have wondered about that quite a bit. None of those bugs you pointed out (all from beta) have been fixed yet, but they have time to:
1. Make roots more difficult
2. Add patrols
3. Neft specilizations
4. Make all roots nodes ATM
Priorities of Nevrax management seem highly suspect, unless their number one priority is to drive away customers.
