Outpost Etiquette

Post by amitst »

My question is: Why is it socially acceptable for entire factions to war on behalf of one guild...or more so... why is this not a Guild vs. Guild occurrence?

I thought it was interesting when allied guilds helped each other defeat the Marauders, but atrocious when legions, aligned by faction for whatever reason, swept across the land.

If simple majority rule is all that is needed to take all of the outposts, then it is indeed a flawed system.

What makes it any different?

a) The bigger guild wins...

b) The bigger faction wins...

c) add number limits to either option a or b = low level players being left out = crap content. We've been here before.

I blame the Kami :P

Yeah, same problems with GvG.

EDIT: One guild would own Every Outpost, and there would be nothing anyone could do about it.

Its just the way war is. The balances shift, major events, larger groups of people joining a side, new weapons, blah blah, all contribute.

The Kami were on top at one point, then the Karavan, these days its getting more even...

Its not a problem, you just didn't get as much ***** when the Kami were winning. :p

Things were even at one point previously. I don't think they've ever really been ahead. They won the first few PvP event things that went on IIRC but that's about all.

Come on, people. We've had this discussion over and over and over again. Unless you're adding something new (which the original poster is not), let's not rehash this again.

It's not really faction vs faction anymore, actually... it's changing into something entirely different...

*sigh* As far as I know Kami have never been ahead durring the time of OPs,Before that who really cared? no-one? exactly, hence the less bi**hing.

and durring EP2 I was always outnumbered or at even numbers when I fought Karas never ahead. (accept a 10 min period once lol).

And before anyone even bothers arguing the numbers atm Kami are still down, The only reason it seems even is because we have neutrals and some Karavan helping us.
