even those that you have access and able to put to your scenario and say maybe 30min tweaking it... then when you press "Test", it says, "Sorry, not enought points".

fun ;-)

The troubling bit here is the hours upon hours that have gone in to scenarios that can no longer even be loaded. Is there something someone can do to make their scenario work again?
At the release of the Ring, you will be able to work on your "Alpha" scenarii again, given the fact you have enough Ring points with one of your characters (as you are an "old" player, I think you won't have any problem on this part - Ring points are related to the number of respawn points you own on Atys).

However, during the Beta, you can't work on these scenario because of the "level 150" cap, which has been added when we opened the Beta on Monday. In the meantime, I can only suggest you to make another "Beta" scenario.

Thanks for the reply. That is fiine.

I was wondering If I could change the map or something to keep working on it, but either way it is no problem if I can have it back later.

thats assuming that scenarios are storedin such a way they will be accessible form the main servers, since you are creating them on ATS. But then again I don't see why they wouldn't be stored in such a manner.

Hello Marjo,

what do we have to do to save our scenarios? I thought they are stored on the client side.

Cheers

Ah *slaps forehead* I hadn't thought about the possibility that they were stored on the client side- my way of thinking made me think offline editor=client side storage online editor = server side storage. I'd love to hear the definitive answer.

The scenarios, from what I can tell, are stored client side. When you go into "test" mode, you get an "uploading" window while you wait for the scene to flop over. Of course, I haven't gone looking in the directory on my hard-drive to see if they are there or not, sooo....

The files are complete, and are stored in your Ryzom directory that you are using for the ATS(RING) access. They are named the name you gave them, and have an extension of .r2

There are also autosave files there. Named Autosave001.r2, Autosave002.r2 ... or something like that.

It would be nice to see a seperate folder where they are intended to be saved.

Edit: Oh and how about a status bar on uploading or switching back to the editor. I think I recall one on the way in and out of publishing. The same one would do great for this.

"Save Scenario" puts them to "Ryzom\My_Scenarios".

There is an editor/animation universe channel...
