The point trying to be made is nexus wish all outposts in fyros zoarai tryker and matis lands to be held by guilds of those nations, atm neither the zorai or fyros lands have this and they can see past faction to see its unfair
This post is also to inform people of the battle to take sides and get their gear for what will be a good fight.

according to our stance, we should have helped the KoO, but we didnt because it was against LoA.

Rather than complaining about "someone wants my toy", just think of the amount of players that cannot benefit from them, or that may need to beg for the goods they produce, while owners can sit on their hands and have a background job filling their halls

We didnt invent the words Kamivan, Fake karavan, check all the threads about outpost and/or faction, you'll find several of them linked to Nexus guild, and look at who are the posters too...
But maybe some are allowed to do that, and others are not.

Yes, Melinoe owns a q250 op, and to describe here what my views on OPs are (including a fair-sharing approach) would be too long and off-topic. We (well, some) don't know the reason the war was declared, as much as we don't know if Melinoe will simply hand over the OP to another guild or keep it, risking the critics from others (although I would think the first).

That said, in my opinion, there are different playing styles, be IC, OOC, aware of the lore, faction-aware, simple dislike for other players, or Counterstrike-like "I feel like an op war", and I think it is hard to accomodate them all, justified in RP terms as empire expansionism, hoministic utopia, or not justified, all are valid ones.

But my point is, Outposts are a game feature that can be approached in different ways, and this needs to be handled in game, constrained by the rules set up by gameplay mechanics, allowing, of course, players acting as they see fit.. in game... (would I post "oh, Melinoe has 2 ops and does not want to give one"?). If devs wanted Fyrosian guilds to own only fyrosian ops, it would be impossible for a Fyros guild to declare outside the desert. If devs wanted guilds owning one op max, they could easily implement it.

And OOC, the same way I would think of myself, a solo guild, being owner of a q250 op as not justified -- since I would be preventing other guilds from sharing it -- I can understand that if, for example, a land is 4 times more populated than another, there may be players willing to set foot on other regions (region x has 800 players sharing y ops in their "region", while region z has 3 guilds of 2 members each -- exaggeration for dramatic purposes). I can understand, although I can as well disagree.

From a pure game mechanic point of view, owning an OP means being open to attack at anytime, by anyone. Similar, to some extent, to having your PvP tag on.

Because for the moment, only fyros or zorai outposts are owned by "foreign guilds". We would do the same to protect or take back a Tryker or Matis op.

Are you asking for an equal number of outposts owned by each side, and every outpost owned only by its region's native race? <POSSIBLY INACCURATE EXAMPLES FOR THE PURPOSE OF THOUGHT PROVOCATION> There are less Kamists than Karavaneers, less Zoraï than Matis. As allways seems KA using time zones against europe players...so early in the morning on monday...mmm...giving a chance to the kara american guilds outnumber the battle again...jeez that must be a coincidence. Luckly in Barcelona 11september is not a workable day and at least spanish players will be there.
As for the OP situations, good job to all the matis guilds trying to make an Empire in atys and make lose interest to ret of the community

Anissa... I didn't say the Devs meant it to be any certain way ... But the players can change the story in this game right? And as players Nexus wants to help Races keep OPs in that lands races hands...(did I word that right lol?)

From what I read(maybe I missed it) I didn't see a "complaint" from nexus about the attack... Just the same statement that was thrown at them when they took WS from OV back in the day( ) turned back on the people who made it... Very much sarcasm in that post I beleive... Not saying Nexus's stand is right or wrong (I tend to agree with help your friends over faction myself,but maybe thats because I was around before FvF...) But they have a right to play how they want just like the evil KA which is OK by me... Because I am positive the Kami will not give up...

I don't think this attack was in greed... I think its a attack because Nexus has helped Kami... Well I think its time Kami return the favor
