Cant get it to install

HEy, i downloaded the client and i have now go to open it and all i get is an ms-dos window with a flashing cursor for about 10 seconds then it shuts itself down.. i really dont understand what im doing wrong..

i am running a

p4 3200
2gig of ram
128mb geforce gfx card
win 2000 proffesional

Make sure that you have DirectX9.0c installed.

You can check the integrity of the installer by opening the downloaded installer with WinRAR and running the test.

The Installshield may be having some issues with your OS for some reason.

Your antivirus could be blocking things or you may have a virus that has corrupted the command.com/cmd.exe

Look in the Ryzom folder, if things got that far along, and look for the log files to see if they reveal anything useful
