Somewhat Noobish Crafting Question

I have been playing for about a month and have armorcrafting 6. My question is this: I can craft basic and fine material quality items. My problem is when I try to use "choice" quality materials, although they are in my inventory, they do not show up on the crafting screen as a material selection choice. I can prospect choice materials. Is there something that perhaps I should have trained that I missed? Info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Choice+ materials are ecosystem specific. If you have choice forest materials for example, they can only be used in Matis craft. If you try to do a Tryker craft they just won't show in the craft window at all.

It sounds like you have materials from a different land then you're trying to craft for.

(Prime Roots materials are universal, along with basic and fine grades)

Choice and higher materials can only be used for racial patterns matching the ecosystem (except for PR amts, which can be used in any pattern). e.g. jungle mats can only be used in Zorai patterns.
