Question about servers

I am happily a paying customer now and I was wondering.

Is there somewhere where we can find information about the different servers? I hear every one name them and was wondering how this information can be viewed?

I have read allot on the forums about how different servers are handled by the GM's and was wondering if it is possible to switch servers or create characters on different servers after I have started the game? I signed up for the English community and if I remember correctly it just picked my server for me?

Is it fround upon to go to one of the other servers and speak English?

Is there more then 1 server per language community or are all the English speaking community members on the same server?

There are 3 servers: Arispotle is for english speakers, Leanon is german and Aniro is french. When you create a new character, that's when you choose the server and I don't believe characters can be moved to a different server.

I don't know how Aniro or Leanon will react if you speak english there; I'll let someone on those servers answer that part of your question.

Well you answered the major question. I was wondering if there were other servers for the english speaking community. I am trying to get the 90 people in my gaming community to try this game out and I wanted to be sure that I will be on the same server so that I can help them out if needed.

Just one shard for English speakers currently. Of course if we help spread the Ryzom word enough, its possible another could open in time

You are offered a menu of the existing communities upon character creation, i.e. you may choose a different server for every avatar.
