New to the game, want some info

Hi, I came from WoW after getting extremely bored with the game and doing all the end-game content available, I was wondering which class and race is better for magic, I want to do sort of a Necromancer(Warlock) if theres any in specific

there arent any classes, if you want to do magic you just do it and then gain experience. if you get bored you can equip a sword and gain melee xp, etc, etc.

There are no restrictions on what you can or cannot do, and all races can do everything equally.

And sorry to be the one who breaks these news to you, there is no Necromancy on Atys. No, ressurecting the dead to do your bidding, unless you confince other players you rezzed to do so
And no conjuring ghosts, or demons either.
SoR works completely different from Games like WhooohOohhWhoooh
(Sorry, coudn´t resist the pun )
You´d have to realy Roleplay the "evil Warlock" part of that Role.


But anyway, I hope you´ll find your niche on some of Atys branches.
Stay and make yourself fammiliar with the world. You´ll see its much mor satisfiing to be free to do what you want to do, then to be stuck with Class-Restrictions.
