If you see someone you suspect of using an illegal bot/macro, submit a ticket and it DOES get dealt with.

Well, the fact you talk about is still a mistery then. You never say what you are going to do with ppl, just they get dealt with , that doesnt mean anything.

It is so easy to cheat then.. You just have to autodig for not too long time and noone would think you are cheating. Then a very low chance of being caught for an unknown punishment ? i think ppl will keep cheating.

Nevrax has to make something so that they cant even start to do it.

These sanctions range from a 24H ban to a permanent ban, depending on the severity of the case and antecedents. Some have already experienced our wrath on this subject.

Another important point: you can help! When you spot someone who is behaving like a bot, contact the GMs. Every report of this kind is investigated, and usually very quickly.
Does this suffice? ;)
Clearly stated a few pages back. Given how superb our very own CSR here handle most issues I have no doubt they are truely devoted to dealing with botting as well. Because you don' t know it happened doesn' t mean it didn' t; even botters deserve a form of 'courtesy' I guess and no one on the CSR part is as such supposed to give away details on who got what punishment.
(I can' t find it back in the CoC though if they are limited by it or it is rather a personal choice)

Just fyi, the CS department does not have to report to you. If somebody breaks the EULA that is between them and the offending subscriber, the CSR's will never disclose any information about this to us the players.

As described above it is not that hard for a group of people getting alot of mats together. I know that in my guild people get help with mats to grind to a level at wcih they can make a item usefull for us. Sometimes there are 3 to 4 diggers helping with mats.

Your accusation is rather offending and I suggest you put a sock in it and go and enjoy yourself IG instead if yelling unfair. If you think somebody is cheating, send a ticket.

People who have the skill and network to get 40k mats might make your uber weapons, armor and amps...

That just confirm what i said. They dont have a good way to catch them. If the digger is smart he wont be caught. Even if its caught its just one day of punishment first time ( it seems i was not so wrong ;) )

GMs should say what punishments, so that we all know if those are just a joke or not. It is not the same that they just ban them 1 day than forever, that can make ppl leaves the game or not, join the game or not, its quite important.

Cheaters dont deserve ANY consideration.

Just chiming in.. but precisely... given the mechanics and opportunities to bot harvesting (vastly described elsewhere and in other posts) I would dare to say that to me, those who gather a large amount of mats are less likely to bot. One of the reasons to bot is to get levels and get access to higher quality (usually supreme) mats. To streamline and get a continuous xp flow, you may need to drop the mats, since otherwise, filling your bag would block you.

If you want to play a game where you dont know what happens to cheaters its up to you. For me its REALLY important to know if cheating is heavily punished or not so that i can know what kind of game i am playing.

I dont care if its about lvls and not mats, just that THEY CHEAT.

I fail to see though how my post confirmed that botters get away with illegal practices or gave insights in the dealings or procedures our CSR use to aprehend them. *confused*

good luck with your crusade...

Edit: on second thought, you might want to send a note to nevrax and explain you can spot exploiters and cheater by the amount of mats they dig, that you are willing to go through the logs for them, and all for free since you hate cheaters so much.

Understand what you want.

When a GM doesnt want to say what punishments i dont have the info i need about cheating about this game. Then if i was a new players i just would leave this game where i dont know what i can find.

GMs dont even have a good way to catch ppl cause they say ppl send a ticket to them. lol. that is a really good way to catch ppl. There is no chance to caught someone unless he is tons of time cheating.

If you want to play without knowing what you play its up to you.
