I'd like to try to organize a trek to the Tryker lands from Pyr on Friday January 6 to collect TPs. I am a lvl 125 Fyros Healer.
REVISED: We should probably leave Pyr by 7:00 pm UK Time (approx 1:00 pm Central US Time).
I have been told the way is long and difficult, so we should have a pretty decent-sized group with some high-leveled homins.
Anyone is welcome, however.
Any takers?

When you say "European Time" do you mean GMT/UK time? 9am Central is 3pm UK, 4pm Parisanzhye wrote:We should probably leave Pyr by 3:00 or 4:00 pm European Time (approx 9:00 - 10:00 am Central US Time).

I know some people like large treks, but not me. I guess it depends on your expectations.anzhye wrote:I have been told the way is long and difficult, so we should have a pretty decent-sized group with some high-leveled homins.
If you want to gain access to these lands as efficiently as possible, keep it down to one team. I'd say 2 200+ nukers and 2 150+ healers is more than enough and the rest can help with healing. If you've got a 200'ish melee along, that'll help if you run into a named boss.
(this last weekend, I led 2 runs from Yrkanis to Avendale. Along the way, we ran into 4 agro named mobs. And when I say "ran into", interpret that literally. Spurlah, Kinitch, Mahi and a Death Cute. Without a tank in heavy armor, all but Mahi can be tough to survive in a small team)
If you don't mind it taking longer and like the site-seeing aspect, feel free to go with a larger, multi-team trek. Just be aware that it will take quite a bit longer as you have to organize more and wait for more disconnects to recover.
I'd volunteer for the first option myself, but it's a work day and morning for me, so no can do.

Yes, you are correct. I didn't know the standard way to refer to it.sprite wrote:When you say "European Time" do you mean GMT/UK time? 9am Central is 3pm UK, 4pm Paris
3:00 pm UK time is correct.

I'd love to help. If you could make it like 7pm GMT I'd happily be there. I'll be at work at 3pm unfortunately.
Re: Friday Trek To Tryker Lands For TPs
I could go for that. I guess it would make more sense to do the trek after most people got home from work. I'll revise the time on the main announcement.kostika wrote:I'd love to help. If you could make it like 7pm GMT I'd happily be there. I'll be at work at 3pm unfortunately.
Departure time is now 7 pm UK time (1pm Central US time)

Wooo! I'll drag some of my guild along too. That's a long trek, but a good one.
Re: Friday Trek To Tryker Lands For TPs
This sounds like you haven't made this track before. Make sure someone who knows the way is coming along. Treks that need to look for their way take a long time and often don't reach their destination.anzhye wrote:... I have been told the way is long and difficult ...

I love treks.
I would love to go and help but I get off work at 6pm EST time. However, some of my guildies need to get the Tp's and I'm sure they would like to go. If by the time I get home the trek is till happening I will join and help.
Good Luck and happy treking.

You're right, I haven't made this trek before. We definitely need someone who knows the way (kinda sounded like Kostika does, though )manya wrote:This sounds like you haven't made this track before.
