THE KITINS ATTACK!

Unfortunately as a side effect of the event, it made all the mekloubs that were not stabled in Trykerland into NPC mobs. We trykers suffered through 24 hours of not being able to get at our packs til it was fixed. All those server reboots were attempts to fix the problem. I hope in the future they will make sure something like that won't happen again when they create a big event like this.

Thanks to the gms and Cerest's prompt actions, the problem was fixed within a day. I have dealt with customer support in other games, and I have to say that Ryzom has had the best in all the games I've played so far. Keep up the good work.

It was not just Trykers who experienced this. I also offer my thanks to those responsible for reuniting my packer and me.

Sounds like they aren't going to announce these before they happen which I think is a good idea. These sorts of invasions should be unnannouced. Adds to the suspense in the game.

BRING IT SOOOO SICK OF WAITIN FOR THIS.....over level 100 now in magic and would like to use it on some kitens PLEASE..............Also let me take a outpost please.......patch 2 needs to come out or the kitens need to come cause im very board just levelin up......btw kinda suck that you only get the new spell plans for elemental and healin magic and not when you work hard on offencive affliction...

the kitin raids are NOT planned events as far as I know...they are dynamic, and happen according to PLAYER interaction with the kitins and not a GM flip switch event....several events supposedly lead up to the raid on matis, however who knows what exactly those events were...

It is clear however that the kitins were mad at us for something and lashed out. Every kipee you kill, every kizoar you tease on the large scale with everyone messing with them...is what pisses them off to where they raid, not a GM or admin flipping a switch in the game.

There really isn't a way to tell when they are coming other than people reporting kitin movements...about 2-3 days before hand someone noticed the kitins were moving closer towards the matis towns. It is these events that we should look for, and not an admin or GM saying "there will be a raid tomorrow". Hope this sheds some light on how the RAID system works...or is supposed to work :0).
