And I only got a warning email. Also Xavier didn't say if he got warned about his discourtesy. I did not know that any ban would be permanent either.
'You're attacking people (forum posters and CSRs); this isn't appropriate
on the Forum.
Next step is permanent removal of your forum access.

No Kos. Sorry I'm confusing you. My CSR comment was made in relation to the post that was a month old. It was closed after a naughty ex CSR tried to explain the agreement they have to keep to. My follow up post was pulled off the forum and disappeared. I took this as proof that some CSRs may be posting favourably on Nevrax's behalf.kostika wrote:Did you get a warning for a month old post then?

I was warned for the discourtesy of attacking the CSRs in the above post and included part of the text of Xavier's email, also above. It quite clearly states that any further breaches will cause my forum access to be removed PERMANENTLY. In Xavier's other comments about access it says account will be suspended. It doesn't say permanently. If anything, I suppose I'm warning the community that it's not a case of being banned for a week or so - it's a permanent ban.

Aww..okies I understand now. Guess I should try reading forums and work at the same timealyssah wrote:No Kos. Sorry I'm confusing you. And yes that is a fair it on the confusing side. I think maybe a clarification may be needed as a perm ban is a bit of a big step.

Re: Please Explain This
The exact terms I used in the original "Trolls & flames" thread was "an unspecified amount of time". And, true, it means "permanent". I didn't wanted to only ban for a given amount of time and have to start again the month after.kostika wrote:And yes that is a fair it on the confusing side. However, I wanted to keep the option of reopening the forum accesses one day, but it depends on how things evolve on the board - thus the 'unspecified'.
