I hate the Karavan

Dont blindly follow ideaology, remember the Karavan came here to help us..

No they came to strip mine it. Ever occur to you that the impoverished planet homin's came here from might once have been as beautiful as Atys? That Riveit's fantasy planet might actually be the same one? That the reason it became impoverished is because the Karavan bled it dry? Then tricked us into coming here?

Perhaps we have been tricked all along by them? Perhaps somewhere in the lost homin lore lies the truth. That we keep being moved from planet to planet in order to strip mine it for the Karavan. Perhaps their plans went awry on Atys when they found the Kitin and the Kami here.

This also could be hearsay but at least it isn't a pipe dream about a false goddess. At least it has SOME basis in fact!

You are backwards who think the Kami are trying to sell you something. Why would they try to convince you of something that is the truth? It's only selling if it's false. They're variety is like the races of Atys, they're all the same inside, like you and I. You just need to realize what I do. The Karavan are clearly full of it. They don't belong here. Look around you.

a) in the bit you quoted you 'snipped' the bit that the "SOME basis in fact" was referring to and hence took my statement out of context.

b) I was using the two words together "strip mine" as in bleed dry. See here. Specifically:

invading creatures come from afar to steal our resources

There have been other examples (which I can't be bothered to find either ) where the Karavan have promoted over extraction of resources.

The Kami, being protectors of Atys, are everywhere. Even though the haughty Matis are ignorant to the ways of this planet, the Kami are still going to attempt to protect their lands.
