The Last Tale chapter 6 part 2 The Orb of Life

Post by legokid »

Lately i've mean wondering with my family has something to do with this tale. I'm going to FairHaven's hall of amber cubes to see if theres any cubes from the tales time and to see if there was a Windra before me.Well there the next part of the tale.

Le’Sinta and Le’Sido left their bodies to talk with Jena about the orb and the stone they found in Ca-Hon slash wound. The world was icy cold just as it was in the real world; Le’Sinta wore a blue caster robe with symbols of wind on the trim while Le’Sido wore a purple caster robe with symbols of water on the trim. Jena wore a blue cloak over her silk white body suit. “Jena does the orb have something to do with the stone we found in Ca-Hon wound” Jena cut them off before they could say another word. “Follow me to the inn or we’ll freeze.” They followed Jena to the inn and sat down in front of the fire with some water. “Now the karavan left off when your people were free of the Matis and Mu-Duk. After FairHaven was finished the zoria, fyros, and matis the followed my teachings came to FairHaven. They had heard stories about mystic land were magic ruled; they wanted the trykers to join them to what we call Nexus. The Tryker agreed and they set off to find is mystical place called Nexus.

No one trusted each at all, they all wonder were does each others trust lie. The karavan went with them because Prime Root is deadly to those who don’t know their way around and too stop the races from killing each other.” Jena stopped because she could see in their eyes they had a very important question. “Jena we don’t mean to interrupt but why do we have these powers and these marks? They said in a silently nervous voice. She smiled. “It all fall into the Orb of Life, when I finish the tale I think you’ll understand why you have your powers.

This was the first time any homin had really explored prime root so the trip to nexus filled many amber cubes with knowledge of the mystical deeps. Even in prime root the races still didn’t trust each other. The karavan stopped them from killing each other, even when they stopped to set up camp each race set up camp around the karavan for protection. Little did they know that they would help me stop the great dragon, “Come anywhere near our camp and we’ll kill you horrid matis we’ll never trust you!” The trykers yelled pointing their weapons at the matis. The matis laughed and walk away. The zoria and the fyros kept to them selves and wanting to get involved. “Calm down young tryker no one is going to hurt you with us on guard.” The karavan said. The tryker gave a bow and walk off toward their tents.

That night everyone sat at their own camps eating and saying a word to anyone but their own. Every once in a while someone would slightly look up to see what the others are doing then quickly glance back. Everything was fine until they heard a high pitched howl that made their blood run cold in fear. They stopped eating and ran for their armor and weapons, the karavan scanned the area for what made that noise. Two red eyes pierced through the darkness like ragus claws. It looked like a giant ragus covered in white and blue fur and long black claws. Everyone looked for the matis but they were gone. With no time to question the matis the trykers slid under the beast slashing their blades deep into the things legs cause it to let out a howl and slam the zoria fighters straight into their gunners. Then out of the darkness came the matis who slashed at the beast but it knock them away. The matis gunners still kept firing as did the fyros and tryker gunners. The trykers and fryos led the beast away so the karavan could help get the matis and zoria back on their feet. They returned just in time, the gunners, matis, zoria, and the karavan were ready. But the fyros and trykers started to stagger and then they fell at the karavans feet. Behind them lay a trail of blood and fur, everyone hoped that the blood wasn’t from the tryker and fyros.

With little strength they used each other and their weapon just to stand up. When they got to their feet they heard the mages chanting something. Each races used their regions spell such as the tryker shockwave. Everyone could tell they were casting huge spells, and then came “Shockwave of the Winds”, “Burning Sky”, “Electric Vines” , and “Poisonous Leafs”. Four giant orbs shot past the karavan and hit the monster right in the face, causing it to fall to one knee. Everyone jump at the chance to finish this battle. When the dust cleared the mages lay on the ground trying to regain the breath. Gunners leaning on their guns and to the karavans disbelief the tryker and the matis shook hands and thanked each other. The races had found trust in each other and a great bond was formed, but the warriors couldn’t continue they soon fell to the ground too totally out of energy.

They awoke in a daze not sure what happened, they got up many holding onto each other for support. Then they saw a sight that almost made they fall to the ground again, the karavan cooking over a fire in the middle of camp. But it was the sight behind the camp that surprised them, the beast dead, covered in bloody wounds, and burn marks. Everyone jumped for joy and ran over to the fire that night was the night of a great celebration. The tryker raised their glass to everyone and to me. The zoria raised their glasses with the tryker, fyros, and the matis. They thanked Ma-Duk and started to dance and sing. Soon everyone even the karavan were dancing and singing around the fire.

Fire red ashes floated from the fire as they danced around the fire. Two young restless trykers snuck to an ancient alter next to the camp. They light the alters orbs and stepped into the circle. Le’Sinta walked up to Le’Sido and told her that he loved her. With that they kissed with mystic wind swirling around them. With the kiss I granted them the great power of wind and water. Then two matis Da’Cons and Da’Lidas came to the alter and kissed as well. When the others saw what was happening they all cheered. Everyone sang and danced late in even the karavan till they were to tried to stay awake and fell into a deep sleep.

They had a rude awaking; frost covered the camp and their clothes. They all ran to get their winter robes before they froze the karavan told them that nexus would be cold and icy so they should keep their winter robes on. The tryker wore cloaks of blue and fine silver trim. The zoria wore cloaks of a greenish red mystic moss with icy blue trim. The fyros wore red and black with green trim same as the matis but they wore green and black. They packed and set off to the unknown.
