I think that allowing remote guild invites not only doesn't mesh with the storylines, it reduces the desire for ambassador type travelers from guilds. This also could result in many drive-by type invites for folks in newbieland.

I see your point but do not think it is good for the game in any way.

Yeah, I pulled it off several times last night. It's damn near impossible to do though when you have somebody else there also trying to get through who isn't being as patient.

Of course, the roaming Kitin patrols really jacked me up quite a few times while I was looking for openings.

Some are easier than others. I was the impatient guy there with Auriga :p

Can get into the umbra roots, but getting into tryker lands essentially requires invulnerabilty or enough hitpoints to survive a hit as you run past as the Kinchers sit on the spawn location just outside the portal over there.

invites shouldn't be so easy that everyone can just be harassed. There are plenty of guilds that will just spam everyone in order to get people.

The teleport tickets as they exist only allow for returning. What I mean by fee based teleport is to pay to go somewhere you haven't been before. Perhaps even a few of Elias "rainbows" could be found?

Those who didn't already travel to other lands before this last patch are going to find it much, much harder to do so now. If I'd known I would have made my Fyros run a lot sooner :p

I do. I think it would allow me to finally converse with the guild I joined without placing restrictions on my character's race.

Actually, you were like the third guy to come by. I had been at it quite a while before you showed up. The problem with multiple people trying at once is that they reset after each kill. Left to their own devices, those two on the right tunnel will eventually wonder a ways farther right than they usually do. That's the opening...or at least the one I was using.

Your reasons for not allowing global guild invites are just silly. Not having them doesn't prevent having multiple races joining up later on and STILL do those missions in other lands. As for the guild invite spam, a simple radio button to allow or not allow guild invites would fix that. Allowing invites globally will create a much richer community and allow some people who prefer to stay in newbie land for a while to enjoy talking to their guild.
