Well, went out and bought Ryzom tonight. Install and patches went well, but the game only comes up in windows mode and I am stuck on the Character Selection Screen. The screen only shows 3 and a half of the 5 character boxes (on the left) and I cannot see or click on the "Create New" button which I am told is on the bottom right of the screen.
Any help would be appreciated, since right now the game is unplayable.

Ok, my default is : C:\Program Files\Ryzom in the ryzom folder look for a file called ryzom_configuration_rd double click it and select Display. Select fullscreen and check the default window is the right size. You can also make your desktop resolution bigger as well, this can also help here. To make desktop bigger right clik desktop, select properites, then clik settings tab and use the slider in bottom left to change desktop size. Ideally you want a minimum desktop of 1024x768
