Link for HARVESTING? I need a harvesting guide!

God, Harvesting is hard. Not so much the actual harvesting itself but trying to figure out what the heck all the Harvesting skills are! So, many of the skills look the same, some have wording that is tricky to figure out what the skill 'really' is and most have VERY LITTLE explanation as to what the skill.

Where is a Harvesting guide?

While on the subject, is there a crafting guide also???

The site I have pasted below should help get you started. The site is done by DoubleTap who has done a great job. There is a lot of information in the site not only about harvesting.

Also, regardless of what you read/are told I would suggest that eventually you try everything else on your own, it can turn out to be fun

I had my hard time in harvesting too... in the beggining. Feel free to pm me with any questions. But if you want my 2 cents, is way better to discover things by yourself than to follow a guide.

Harvesting gets much better. Read the stuff from DoubleTap for sure, you have to register to see his stuff.

I would also suggest you hook up with 1 or more other harvesters and ask questions. Turn on the Focus bar over their head so you can see what that is doing while they dig and recover, etc. Ask questions of every harvester you can.

And then... as others have said, TRY EVERYTHING. No two harvesters dig the same. At least not most of the time. I am setup very very different from others and it works well for me.

P.S. It is good to be around other harvesters and be teamed so that when you die, as you will early on, you can easily get a rez. And besides it helps you talk about digging and anything else.
