patching, hi, guilds, ryzom

So who's still playing this? :P I resubscribed, hoping for some casual play for a while. The server merge looked interesting :) What's happened in the last couple months? What guilds are still around? How are events? What word on outposts?

Going to need a guild. Lots of people and chat. I just want to have fun and see some activity when I log on :P Lots of high level stuff going on, challenges. I was in CP on Windermeer before the immense immense dramastorm in the forums destroyed the guild. I got soured on the whole MMORPG experience in general and quit. I don't really have it in me to get back into it all again, and prolly won't grind (maybe dig/craft a bit more to be able to make 1 more outfit) but just sit on my levels and do some of the group things I had fun doing. I'm tryker, kami/karavan neutral personal (being a tryker in a kami guild scared me about messing up my toon, was waiting till they got fame ironed out to do anything). I don't care what I do as far as fame now, I'll join either and stick with that. Karavan would be interesting :P ~175 healing, ~160 nuking, ~130 fighting, ~130 desert, ~100 PR, ~100 LA.

I also don't mind a little PK and play. On Windermeer, despite there only being a couple incidents, my old guild was ostracised and hammered to death in the forums for introducing the threat of open pvp. If the general feeling in the old EE and new merged community is like that, I'll only get anyone here or there who tags me first 8)

PvP in roots: I've heard of some guild skirmishes, didn't witness them first hand. I personally haven't been bothered there. Ran a few treks through ToT and was only offered help every time.

Welcome back

Server megre went very well, both server's players have benefited greatly.

Merchants are full of Mats and Items.
Most of the Die hards are still around.
We have improved communication with Nevarx
Game is going through a tidy-up phase. (load of bug fixes and some new stuff sneaked in)
Balance is good (casters still powerful, tanks still hard to knock over, Kami are upset with the diggers and the crafters are rich)
Outpost on the Horizons, eagerly awaited.
Community same as ever a good mix of good and bad (mostly good).
Lots of small guilds, some big ones.
Loads of conflit and underlying atmosphere.
Growning RP community.
Loads of player run events.
Very good CSR run events (last one was a history lesson and huge battle against 200+ NPC in Winds of Muse, rather than Bounty beaches).

An every evolving game, plans for a FREE expension and more content and lands (hints at a 5th race/culture)

and loads of other stuff I forget.....
