Don't blame RP for people like that.

At least RP gives some justification.

The problem people are, generally, power players.

I didnt saw a change in attitude during last week. In KoD and GoC people get resed, healed back to life and resed again. And then some more. Everytime my team went down - lots of helpful homins rushing in. And some more homins asking in region channel if its all sorted out or help still needed.

I didnt find some dead homins who took west for east or otherwiseround - but they got resed anyway.

Maybe iam just lucky - but i played alot during last week and met many americans too. They are welcome to me.

well, I always try to rez people if I see it in region. Sometimes I am in a wrong window and don't see it right away. I also have a hard time finding people so it makes it hard, when they know not where they are any better than I do when I am laying face down waiting for a rez.

But it would be nice if they would let you know if they get rezed, or respawned. While you are running around and geting killed yourself looking for them

I will always try to rez but need a bit of time to find them.

I have seen nothing but good attitudes when I have played from all players.

In fact I just missed rezing someone just now, cause I was AFK and when I came back saw it in region. it is hard to know how long it has been there and they respawned before I could get there. There are sometimes reasons. and they knew there was some one in GS, but I was AFK so unlesss they are right on top of you. there is really no reason.

I'm glad to say I have never seen things as bad as what has been reported here... Generally speaking the entire community of SoR is regarded as being very close, friendly, and mature. I hope these are all just "horror stories" like those tv shows about holiday nightmares :p

Lots of negative and positive replies on this post.

my addition:
Yesterday we were hunting in Fount with a group to raise out lower lvl skills a bit. This means that we can kill everything in sight easily, but choose to take the hard way and earn some xp. At a certain point there is the cry for a rez somewhere in the south, rather far in the south, while we are mor in the nothern part.
As no-one answered, we took a run. We notified others in region of this by saying: Coming.
I hit speed, passed a few kinchers and gingo's and went straight through the harvesting area with some giant Kincher on follow.
My only comment was: Can someone kill that kinch?
Upon arrival I saw the dead guy receiving some heals from someone else and he was praising all in Fount.
So round we went to finish the kincher off, but even there nothing could be done, it was dead already...

There were 2 quests that minute:
- Raise the dead player.
- Safe Frydeswinde from that stalking Kincher.

Both were completed successfully. Keep bringing them on :-)

not seen any of these problems from any player in the last week

however I have seen it from players from Euro server before the merge on 4-5 occasions and while I was pretty annoyed at the time I kinda accepted others play the game their own way.

I personally try to res each and every person who calls for it usually at danger to myself, in ters of ettiquite for calling for res I would appreciate the
"I've been killed by 5 varinx so watch out" before I try. It doesnt put me off doing it, it just makes it more likely I will succeed

little reply from fyros my beloved homeland

1/ low level players idd somethimes "demand" a rez evenwhile they are for example in oasis and no one near them. mostly i still try though last time i got killed by 2 gings (following me from pyr) a guari and 2 pickerd up cloppers :)

though somethimes my rez can depend on the way they ask it...

2/ my hometown thesos: well nothing but real nice players there. We've set up a nice community with all the "regulars" there. We know eachother, we rez eachother we rez others...

though like it has been brought up in this thread: many peeps are around so basicly i wait a bit (if i know i have time enought to make it) and then ask if they're fine or not.

Yesterday team was down in thesos springs. i speeded up with 3 of my fello harvesters there. what we saw was a massacre 5 homins dead, 3 kinchers and some good old varnixes around :) result 8 deads instead of 5. BUT we tried and got gratitude from the players around. IMO thats what counts.

so from my experience i cant complain these days :)

Just a general view from the eyes of Neun.

So far everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, I have meet over the weekend has been great!

I have new friends in the Fount!
I have new friends in EI (about time to :P )
I have new friends in Dryon, Thesos and GoC.

I have rez'd and been rez'd without question or problems.

What was really sweet was a lady in the Flaming forest, who every now and then would wander away from her team and throw a heal at me. Then quietly wander back to her team. This kind of thing makes me smile. It adds so much to the game for me.

I was aprehencive about the merge, for different reasons to most. I am very protective of Atys and its community. (not that I make it that obvious :P ) I loved the 'close' comminity a smaller pop gave. Well we are far from a same pop now. Even I suffered a little lag on the events due to player numbers. All I can say is I love the new faces in town, and no matter where you come from, who you are.

Treat others as you want to be treated and you won't go wrong.

I always try to help people and rez them when they ask for help.

I agree that too many times people just say things like 'could someone heal me?' No location, nothing helpful. People really do need to learn to give location straight away to save valuable time while the person trying to save them asks where they are.

GIVE YOUR LOCATION PEOPLE! e.g. 'could some one rez me near fourways please?'

I have only had one real experience of not being rezzed and it was pre-merge in Fyros.

I managed to get myself killed and asked on region if anyone could rez me. I then noticed someone on my radar within 25 meters so I asked on around a couple of times if they could rez me. No response. I knew they were not AFK because I could see the dot moving. They basically ignored me despite being right there within a few meters of my body.

So once my timer ran out, I went back to the spot where I died and sure enough they were still there soloing magic. That person is now on my 'never gets rezzed' list. ;)

Not a very long list, only 2 people on it ATM, but if I do see more of this trend it will grow. So please people let's not spoil our community.

I think its about powerplay and outposts. There gonna be guilds fighting each other for outposts. So the guilds help only their players. It's very normal to do so, when u see the other players as enemies.

This is the effect of pvp, gvg... We do not care about the kitins no more. There are more aggro spawns, but there isn't a invasion or such. We need a coop goal. That will change the attitude.
