TSO's Fashion Show Needs You!!

Ok all, it's time to have our show! I wanted to hurry up and get a post up here because it seems our fashion show is being confused with the one going on this evening. I apologize for the lateness of a date, but I was waiting for someone who wanted to participate in it to come back in from out of town.

Our show will be on Friday, April the 15th at 8:00 EST.

Please show up wearing your dress downs as we will have a seperate area for dressing so noone will see until presentation time.

The place this event will be held is in Fyros in the city of Pyr. Please meet one of TSO's escorts at the main city gates to be escorted to the designated spot.

We will have two catagories of winners. One will be most fashionable, and the other the weirdest.

The weirdest will be simply just that, the weirdest. The most fashionable will be based on 3 categories, one being originality, two being hairstyle (also how well it matches the outfit), and three will be presentation.

I need all judges to please post here or send me an in-game tell so I know who all will be able to be there to participate.

I look forward to seeing you all there and let the Fashion Show begin!!!!!

By the time this goes ahead the merge will have gone ahead. Myself and Synn have run the fashion show a few times on Arispotle, but have had to postpone it due to some technical issues.

However, I think we would be happy to let you guys do it if you want, great for a US lead event on Arispotle.

If you want any help in how to run it from someone who has experience in running it, PM me and I'm sure I'll be able to give you guys some suggestions etc =)

After seeing the massive turnout of the show held in Yrk, it struck me that we should have different rounds to the competition.
For example, a HA round, a MA/LA round, and then overall looks. Having such a large turnout for the event, I was somewhat disappointed to see everyone sort of sticking with the same areas of armor and many of the same looks. I realize it might take a while to do that, so maybe just have an All-Arounder competition seperate from one like this.

ehh maybe, but anyone can do one type of armor and it's so limited in choices. It's the creativity of making someones own combo that I am more interested in. I think something more like what we are doing with the prettiest and the weirdest are things that can add more options to it. Maybe someone can think of some other categories for the next one

Well I dunno about THE fashion show but this is all ours

So I dunno about the letting thing cuz I don't think we'd want to take over a main fashion show if this is what you are referring to. This is just something we are doing as a guild event for some fun and will hopefully do some in the future, too.

We'll see how this one goes since it's our first, hopefully well, but if needed I will definitely ask for some pointers from everyone in the future
