How can you have a game that has a lore section called higher power and 2 game entities that are religions then turn around and say that religion doesn't have a place in the discussion of the game? If that is the case, then I think you should have them remove the higher power section of the lore and ban all conversations relating to the Kami and Karavan. They are religions and they do have things in common with real religions.

The "higher powers" and "religions" in Ryzom are fictional and don't affect the real world. Discussions about real world religions (Chrisitanity, Judaism, Islam, etc.) do have an affect the real world. And people's opinions about these religions, or situations or instances around these religions, do not have a place in this forum, plain and simple.

When Russia declares war on China because of the Karavan beliefs then that may be a different matter. But until then, no discussion of real world religions on this forum.

The "higher powers" and "religions" in Ryzom are fictional and don't affect the real world. Discussions about real world religions (Chrisitanity, Judaism, Islam, etc.) do have an affect the real world. And people's opinions about these religions, or situations or instances around these religions, do not have a place in this forum, plain and simple.

The Kami and Karavan don't have any affect in the game world either. Nor are their any groups in game going to war over any beliefs so I guess we shouldn't be discussing them either.

I'm slowly but surely coming to the realization that much of the background and story of this game are really nothing more than dressing on an otherwise bland salad.

Raynes, Mynias himself encouraged Karavan allies to come. I thought the posts on the events forum made it clear that the event was more about homin unity than about Kami specifically.

Although this occasion is especially important to fellow travellers on the Kami's Path, we would urge everyone to attend. As is expected of our faith, we would welcome the opportunity to share our stories with those who would not normally listen. So if you are not a follower of the Kami, please feel welcome, that the stories of our faith may bring a smile to your face, and peace to your heart. You need not change paths, as this is a decision not to be taken lightly, but come without anger or hatred, and share in our celebration.

Mynias is a tired old pushover who does nothing but appear randomally and give cryptic messages concerning events that don't matter in the least bit. He should of been brushes aside for someone more useful long ago.

I would suspect that you would interpret it that way. After all you don't have a clue what the Karavan stand for or why you are following them. This was clearly demonstrated when I asked you what you felt they stood for and your responce was "You know what I think, so I don't have to explain it".

Actually if you follow prophecy back, Christ was actually born more like around Halloween, NOT December 25th which was stollen and used as a Christan holy day. The 25th of December is on or VERY near Winter solstice!
Which was called Yule, hince the calling of Christmas YULETIDE.

You will also find the MANY Christian holydays were stolen from Pagan holydays, Easter is Spring Equinox (ok, explain to me what bunnies that lay eggs and chocolate bunnies have to do with Christ's death and resurrection??!! Thought so, I couldn't figure it out either), Candlemas remains almost UNchanged.

Sounds like non-Christians celebrating Christmas doesn't it?

From the look of that outpost pic, I am very excited. It looks like the true "rebuilding of Atys" kinda thingingmajig that's part of the Saga.
