Q&A - Round II

Hi folks -

Now that the answers for Round I have been published, it's time to move on to Q&A Round II. If you previously asked a question during round I, that did not get an answer on, please feel free to ask again about it. As you know we can only get you a limited amount of answers each time, but we'll try our best to pick out topics that the most players are interested in.

now that you are in the process of sorting the fight tree out will affliction be looked at too. The linking system is a little backwards and the skills are vastly underpowered including the ones that show noticeable gain whatsoever. I think I saw a mention that the link system will be changed but this was mentioned in the case of elemental DoT spells.

slow attack/movement do not seem to work (any proof that I'm wrong would have to be seen to believed)

sleep is currently useless

I'm still interested in a more detailed explaination of how Fame works. Especially guild fame. We only know the very basics on how fame works, but there's more to it that has yet to be figured out.

when will the matis (and some other maps) be alligned properly, so you are where the map says you are :)

From what I have seen, the fyros map is 6m off, but that could just be because you can't move your mouse close enough to the actualy position on the map due to pixel limitations :P If there are some more serious problems than that then I'm glad I try to stay out of the forest :p But yes, it is kinda annoying

Right now, it seems that a healer doesn't get any xp, if he/she revived a character who does not hit the beast after ressurection again.
Seems a bit unfair to the healer. Will this be changed?

in the last few weeks ive noticed small changes in the game such as the in-game email notifcation icon on the compass, when you have unread email waiting. Since i find its the small things like this that make a big difference to the game, as much as the big changes. I was wondering if Nevrax plan to make some more small changes in the next patch? And if so can we have a sneeky idea or hint on what the next great little thing is? :)

It does work, cast it on a mob and you can see that they attack slower and walk slower

Can we get an idea of what the plans are with regard to the future of ranged combat?

I think this would perhaps be of more interest than many would realise, based on the fact that every ranged weapon I put on the vendors is sold within 24 hours, so people are obviously intrigued by this skill.

Even a small thing like allowing the use of inc dam bricks on ranged actions would be a huge boost to us snipers in the community :)

If I use Deposit Tracking for Excellent Materials I still get Mission Materials, will there come an stanza specialy for tracking Mission Materials so I can just track Excellent Materials without finding Mission Materials again and again?
