I just hope this KOS policy does not apply to Joe's Hotdogs and Bagpipe Emporium and Rundll as I know for a fact that he talked with Haddo and got his permission to sell in other markets besides Fyros.

I would consider your arrangement a mutual agreement with the crafter and would assume that you are in fact charging a "small fee" commensurate with the costs for you to cart the wares. (In english, Enough to cover your TP tickets and Time!) This in fact is a service to the community!!!!

And just to calm everyone the hell down. STOP IT.

Keoni appears not to be the main source of the issue. However, she does seem to be standing up for the black market. This in itself is not a crime in the eyes of OmegaV, being part of the black market is.

Everyone PLEASE STOP, TAKE A DAY OFF, and then come back to this. You will see the errors in others even your ways. And, if you are big enough, you will not feel the need to sit there and try and point them out to the world for your benefit.

Woot lol! It's simple, no? If someone wants to buy somnething placed on a vendor that they're allowed to, they can. If they do, there are going to be some people who don't like them for doing it. Hell of a lot of pages about it :P

I dont buy Haddo's jewelry, we make our own in guild... So not being a Haddo jewel crack addict like most of you seem to be, I see it differently. I do not ever store items on merchants, but I sell my hard earned wares at high prices. If the drug (jewelry) pusher (Haddo) is absent, then the supply is upset... Someone buying all the supplies up and reselling them is only exploiting your addiction, but not bad gaming... in fact it is very wise. NOBODY needs Haddo's permission to do this, it is the nature of a market economy.

A wise player/guild could follow behind Haddo on ANY day and buy what he places on the market, reprice and sell back... they could also buy them just to remove them from the market. Seeing how many of you have over relied on Haddo's jewelry, this would be a good tactic to keep items away from others and force Haddo into finding supplies for additional crafting. I would truly suggest that any power player that is relying on the market or ONE supplier for jewelry take a serious look at this as an example/weakness in your game. When a call to arms goes out, do you want to have your "crack" held back based on your stand.... become self sufficient...

I would back up Basic and OmegaV on anything, especially when a dimwit using simple excuses and doublespeak fronts for a guild... Having said that, I disagree with Basic's stand on the issue, I just think Keoni has acted inappropriately and brought it on her/himself.

Ok folks....time to chime in...

This is ridiculous. I'd like to just summarize a few key points:

1. Keoni indicated that she spoke for herself and not her guild. Her actions were a personal decision and not a guild policy. If you have a problem with her actions, take it up with her and leave her guild out of it.

2. She indicated that she did attempt to retrieve the items from the NPC when this became an issue, but they had already sold. The implication is that the behavior in question was going to stop. If anyone has an expectation that she can magically go back in time and undo history, I suggest that you rethink the position. While she did not not agree with you, she did try to respect the general wishes of the community.

3. I, personally, agree that this kind of item scalping is a "bad thing". However, as it was two sets, I can't really make the leap that Keoni is an habitual item scalper. For all I know they had items in their guild vault that nobody was using and decided to offer them to the world. The laws of supply and demand determined a "reasonable" price. Obviously someone else felt that they were worth the price. Dozens of other people in Fyros do this every day and I don't hear anyone going out and hunting them down.

4. While Haddo asked that the items not be resold, there is nothing in the game system or in a free-market society that prevents people from doing this. Imagine that you had two tickets to the superbowl and couldn't make use of them. Would you sell them for face value? Would you sell them for the going market rate? Or would you throw them away because the NFL asked you not to resell them? (and many communities made the resale illegal). A couple of rings does not indicate a pattern in my eyes. Once Haddo sells to an NPC, he loses any say that he has over the items. It sucks and I don't approve of taking advantage of it, but that's the reality. I can't sell my car to someone and then tell them that they can't resell it when they're done with it. What Keoni did was essentially hold the item until it appreciated in value. It was opportunistic, but not really a blatant abuse of the system.

5. Boycott of Keoni's items would have been a reasonable response. A declaration of war on her guild is out of line (imho). Not only are you engaging OotD, but also dragging allies into a ridiiculous fight that has nothing to do with them. I honestly don't care what philisophical discussions have occured since, it comes down to two rings. Let's try to get some perspective, folks.

Can't we all just get along? We have enough enemies in other lands without declaring war on our own.

Agree with everyhting you had to Say DT, except that when stepping away from the in-game antics, it is not good for the game overall. This may change when there are more than 60 people on a continet at any given time.

Funny thing is the OmegaV peeps don't even need to buy the jewels. We have a large stockpile of jewels. We are standing up for the little guy at the moment.

And btw, it does not appear as keoni is the problem, she just has a big mouth for the position she holds on a topic. Which is fine, just don't get angry about others positions.

It seems to that you have declared was on us and anyone that has risen to defend Basic's view i would ba verry carefull whos toes you step on keoni, NOT a threat just some advice from girl to another. Its just a game and opinons vary allways have and allways will. Look through history and see how many wars/fights/crusades were started over beliefs and opinons. Take is for what it is and move on.

1st off i have taked to haddo often in game and he will prabally thin this is funny.

2nd i am a Crafter and glad jelwes don show what color they are on your toon as i make Armor and you have no clue how many time i am asked for black/white armor at a Q i can not pull in Pr <i pull 80 there> yet people want say 120 HQ armor and i will often talk to people for like 2+ hours off and on be for the ask stuff like what about Blue... goes on for a long while after that and then they just end up buy ing what ever i make


3rd there are many Crafters that will Craft for Free or Cheap <dependeing on what they are doing atm> if you have the Correct mats <meaning they can Craft them> (i have done this) <so if u can not get the mats learn to forage or kill stuff at that q>

4th on the money issue i spend most of my game time Crafting beacuse i love craftin not so much foraging atm i need 85 lvls <that will be a long time due ti the price of mats and normal life un less i find a Mat daddy lol> to make Full HQ heavy armor when that happens i have 0 clue how much Dappers i have spent.

5th If u do not like the price on an item do not buy it make it yourself and see the time it takes these people to make it.

6th If i remer correctly haddo will be back soon so Haddo addics get your dappers /mats ready for him i am sooooooo sure that if you tell him what the big bully price gougers did he will make shure to pet the whiners on the head with his pick and give them a few new pericings to place more jelery
