Is anyone taking cracks at the kitin nests? With the Kinreys, larva? Any of the bigger guilds? I'd love to do that, what there is of the raid-like content.

I know there is one cave in the Roots that is surrounded by Kinreys and Kinchers. It would take about 20 players to even get close.

There are a few like that -- multi-level nests with harvestable kitin larva sources that spawn randomly deep inside. CP raided Summerstock once. We were making strategies, working our way up to the second level while trying to avoid mass respawns, and gave up for the night after a few tries. A real challenge that would be, for a guild to be able to get inside those and hold their position on the top level to clear out the supreme larva 8)

As for the Kitin Larva spots... I find it less then rewarding to finally have my pick in one, only to have the source dry up on one pull... thats just wrong. 3XQ### is not worth what it took to get to it.

Send me a tell after 7est- i'll try to get my guys and see if we can do anthing :)

As for everyone people taking it out on individual members of a guild:

1) If you are in a guild that takes a particular direction - it would be wrong to go completely different way
2) I have absolutely 0 issues with PK guilds (assume the worst combination here). Be prepared to be self sufficient though lots and lots will whine.
3) If you chose the route of warrying guild - then why disband it? Surely some will be upset (including myself when i get nailed) BUT in the end of the day - someone will rise to fight :)

We have begin to stock up on lots of cheese in our guild hall to hand out when the time comes.

I'm all for some bloodshed - when PVP combat will be brought to some level of balance. There some essential things that seem to be missing. IMHO within current setup higher lvl always wins over lower level. High affliction is aproximately equivalent to 20 levels to your primary fighitng skill.

i.e. 200 mage with no affliction is about the same level as 180 mage with 180 afliction. Other then that 200 will always win :)

Buffs, debuffs, self heal/sap/stamina (spell). Ability to break through stun/blind/fear etc. etc etc.


I'm waiting for at least some of those to make it interesting.


Oh yeah, and PK points too :)
