Negative Kami and Karavan fame questions

People say its not possible to have positive in both factions. So is it possible to have negative fame in both. And if so what happens to spawn points?

now that i have done a few missions to get some change to my fame and see it work, something really concerns me. If you start asa Karavan aligned race you have 16 fame withe Karavan and -33 fame with kami just to start. And vice versa. This tells me if i work really really hard i maybe able to defect. but for a time I'll have a negative fame in both. what happens when i die? where will i spawn. if the spawn points turn off since i have negative fame.

Also how do you get a negatived famed faction to talk to you to get missions to improve there faction? As a matis, i've done 10 Pyr city welcomer quests and didn't see the whole numbers of Kami budge at all.

These mechanics are making the kami and the karavan rather hypocritical

I'm pretty sure you can't get both Kami and Karavan negative. They seem to have changed it so anytime you get one, you get the opposite in the other.

As for missions the city welcomers will always give you missions.

I've done missions where you lose Kami fame but don't gain Karavan. I imagine there's missions that are the other way around too. This was after the 3rd part of patch 2, btw.

I logged a bug on this because so far, I've not found a way to gain one without losing the other yet you can lose in one without gaining in the other. Maybe this is what they want but I'd imagine it's an oversight more than anything. Seems odd to let you dig a hole with no way out.

Except if you are matis, you start with a 16 Karavan and a -33 Kami under civilzation. Which makes it to global. so if some how i get +17 personal Kami fame which will give me -17 personal Matis Fam I'll have a global fame of -1 Karavan and a -16 Kami fame.

so when you start the charect and then go on a trek to another land without any personal fame only the Karavan gave me a respawn point, the Kami didn't. So its the global fame that maters and since you start 0,0 in personal fame it is possible to have both factions negative if, as you say you loose in one what you gain in another.

Well i can only do 3 of them the pyr welcomer gives. (rest are harvesting) take an hour or two for those to reset. and only get 1-2 Fyro's fame per three i do. I'm hoping once i get positive global fame with fyros i'll be able to get missions from others. Because i'm trying to do that method to raise my kami lower karavan to see .. and i have yet to see movemnt in whole numbers.

not going to reveal alot but there is a way to get +fame in all races with out ever losing fame in any of them.

well races are easy.. its the factions (Kami/Karavan) thats the hard part

I can't recall. I put the detailed numbers in the bug report but, unfortunately, we can't see the bug reports we've logged.

It is possible to have negative faction fame with both. Your spawns are your greater fame.

My Tryker went from Karavan spawns to in Pyr spawns in less than one nights fame runs.

NPC's to talk with to up KAMI fame are normally givens by the Kami welcomer, and I was able to get a Kami welcomer mission right off on my Tryker....not sure about Matis that want to defect, haven't tried that one yet.

Once they get the test server back up...I will try it.
