Melee Fighters - how do you play yours?

Con rec on a q110 is 73con

would need two different ql mediums and there con requirement to calcuated it .... All I know is with a con of 130 I can where my ql140 hvy and with the same con I can where ql160 medium

boost on hvy ql140 = +70
boost on medium ql160 = +80

so I effectively gain 10 Hps a peice (+50) (lose the helm so -70 ) and lose 25% protection and 50% on the head.

If I am tanking - then I use a sap based heal (Only need to heal in a really bad emegency, and will have full sap).

If I am healer - I have ql160 light +80 hp all but head (+400 total) and If I get hit as a healer I have not set-up in the right place or I dropped the tank .... so hey I deserve to die

But trust me .... when I get HQL medium Tryker armour, I will wear it to bed that armour is just awesome.

He is Angel Of Atis and has bin crafting meds a long time so i guess he is the man to talk to. He also has a theory on animal mats so i think he can awnser bether questions.

Now, I saw a post in the combat forum saying how useless medium armour would be for melee and I'm sorry to say that I just took it at face value and believed it - as your guild mate must have.

I'll try some medium in the game later today - it's only dappers after all.

I carry 2 sets of armour a light set with focus for foraging and crafting, I also wear this using magic and a medium set with hp which, I use for melee. I have never worn heavy armour and I am presently level 176 in melee 2h sword and I do not intend to use heavy as I see no need to do so. Plus I prefer the look of medium Matis armour.

A quick rule of thumb...

If you run out of stam first, change down from heavy to medium.
If you run out of hp first, get yer heavy gear on, and maybe a shield.

Of course you can change your credit stanzas aswell for adding flexibility.

And...
If you aint doing anything with your sap, enchant your weapon with vampirisim and get some self heals in. Or maybe with Fear if you prefer not to die on those tricking situations.
