I saw earlier that a few people had questions about this but cant find the thread now. When you Left click on a mob and it gives you the option to attack the cursor around the mob will change to the color of the mobs relative lvl to you. ie: Green easy ...Blue Even..I am not sure if white or yellow is next ...but you should get the idea. Sorry again I couldnt find original post hope this helps.

How to Con <Consider> MOBs
Re: How to Con <Consider> MOBs
There are two ways of going about this.
1. Notice the Box onscreen that surrounds the Foe, for all npcs and pc's it'll stay white, on beasts n such it will change colors. Each color code is an indication of it's lvl.
2. The Tharge window, where the health bar and the name comes up you'll notice two squar boxes. The left one gives a more narrowed (though there is still a lot of guesswork) indication as to it's lvl. If you rightclick this taget window and go to help it will explain the color codes in accordance to the target's lvl. i believe green the various shades, is 0-30....blue 30-50 n so on i believe not really remembering. But keep these things in mind at first it will seem daunting but eventually you'll begin to understand a bit more.
The main trick is to use both of these things in combination, the first is the most help. Also keep in mind if 1. is green around the foe and 2. is close to blue it will be a tough fight if you are not properly equiped with items at around the quality of the lvl.
Many people complain about this, but personally i enjoy this aproach it add even more realisim to the game. Honestly how real is it when you look at something in real life and know exactly weather or not you cna take it or not. This approach adds an element of excitement in my opionon. I hope this is help to you.

Re: How to Con <Consider> MOBs
A word of caution - these color ranges cover some serious ground. Do not simply take on faith that ... hey ... it is blue, and I can kill <xyz other Blue-Con creature>, so I must be able to kill that!
Sprightly Yubos and Hard Kipees con the same. If you are low to medium leveled, one will make you work while the other will make you dead.
In the end, the con is useful ... but be cautious.
P.s. - Don't accept defeat if something big comes your way! Go down swinging! One of our hunting parties was charged by a Preying Najab (really ill-tempered and ugly lvl 150 mob) tonight, and we stuck with it and managed to put the beast down. Hope is not always lost. Of course ... sometimes you are simply doomed.

Which is wrong. They changed this quite some time ago in the beta, but never updated the help.

Re: How to Con <Consider> MOBs
I started a thread earlier about this topic and it is a concern since the level range is so broad. You look at the color scale on the help screen and you see 30 lvls for blue. No way to make an informed choice. Maybe if they made graduations in the color that would help. Pale blue for low 20s on up to dark blue for 50.
I also head that this is still bugged and the force box and/or the aggro box doesn't represent the mob correctly. Correct me if I'm wrong. Definitely an area that needs attention as it is frustrating to fight something you're not ready for. Makes for a lot of debt.

Re: How to Con <Consider> MOBs
The lvl indicator is not bugged (see above), the help is just outdated. The aggro indicator, on the other hand, IS bugged, it only shows "green" so far.
