OK guys here is the new wishlist for things you'd like to see in the game post Chapter 2. Please try to be clear and concise, short and sweet. As always please try not to repeat things that are said. I will try my best to keep the list fairly up to date. Keep in mind that the devs do look at this list, so if you have a great idea tell us about it!

Ability to play left handed. In other words be able to equip in either left or right hand. If, for example, you select a 1H sword in left hand, your right hand then works like the left currently works - you can then only select a dagger or shield in your right hand.

The above would greatly improve game play and add a big fun factor.

I'd like to see some balance between harvested and quartered mats. Right now, Choice and lower harvested mats are very easy to come by in bulk, however, only Fine and lower are easily available in quantity from mobs.
My main reason for this is because of the stats available on quartered mats that are not available on harvested mats. Dodge mats are harvested, parry mats are quartered. Cast speed mats are harvested, cast power mats are quartered.
I posted a thread about this before along with some ideas as to how to accomplish it (quartering skill, method used to kill the mob, etc.):

Another idea I discussed in a past thread was the use of dyes. Here's what I wrote:

When I'm constructing my armor, I do so almost exclusively focused on getting the best stats for my style of combat. As such, I'm invariably led to a specific material and, therefore, am always wearing red armor.
By adding a dye material, you allow people to use the materials for the stats they want as well as customize their appearance. This certainly doesn't go against the "reality" of the game as the use of dyes exists in very primitive societies and would certainly be something our Homins are capable of.
Further, medium quality recipes could have 2 dye slots and high quality recipes could have 3 dye slots. This would allow you to control the secondary and trim colors too.

having read about the exp system in WOW (! Don't flame me! I've never played it!!), i'd like to see a system in place for a boosted exp rate if you've been away from your PC for a few days or so.
Not all of us a 'serious' gamers. In fact, i guess a lot of us are casual.
Would be good if those of us who can not play all day could get a little tail wind as not to leave us too far behind in the levelling.

Auto-Reward system, for large prey raids.
Similary to quest system where you automatically get your quest item when the creature dies, basically, anyone who participated in the kill gets 1 reward item, like a trophy or something, even a random unique item.
Researchable patterns for items.
Random patterns from Raiders, which are sellable or trainable.
Larger goups, or combined raid team without a maximum member count, this is not for distribution of experience, this would help in the auto-reward system, anyone in the raid would be rewarded.
Auto loot distribution system, or raid storage system, like FF Online, there is a chest that holds all items, and they can be distributed through an opt-in random roll, highest gets item, on every item in chest.
Be able to attack from mounts using weapons or magic.
Multiple level mounts vs the one we have, with different abilities.
An entire new magic tree of 'Charm', the ability to 'Tame' animals to use as pets.
Ability to hire henchment to guard you as you go out and harvest, they would be available in all the local pubs for a price based on there level, and henchmen do not stay with you when you log off.
Be able to hire Guards from the cities armory, they would cost more than henchmen, and you can opt to continue to pay for there services when you log of, they would stay by your packer/mount until you log back in, and cost dappers per day of service until released from service, different level guards cost different dappers per day, and you should be able to hire multiple, similar to henchmen.
You would get no EXP for anything they do, and you can not quarter anything they kill.
Be able to craft from Apartment and Guild Hall
Be able to harvest food for your mount.
Be able to grow food for your mount in your apartment.
... a probably impossibe request, but since terain is editable in other games..
have your harvest actually effect the level of terrain, as you dig, over time the terrain lowers and stays lowered permanently.. this would also effect wether or not the harvestable spots could show up there again, weather could currode the surrounding spot and fill it back in again over time.
Thats something that would take a LONG time to implament, just an interesting concept.

And here is my list:
1) Titles awarded for something other than beating the hell out of something.
2) Titles for reaching 100 personal fame with groups. You reach 100 and there is no reason why you should be called friend of <fill in blank>
3) Some complex events that aren't centered around pvp, invasions, or killing in general (notice the word complex, finding people is not complex).
4) Some puzzle content.
5) Some content were diplomacy gives the advantage over having the biggest sword.
6) Some content that actually involves diplomacy.
7) The ability to see other players Kami or Karavan alliance above thier heads.
8) Some real benefits of fame. You have it were NPC groups attack those with bad fame, how about the flip side?
9) NPC's playing drums as you go into Zora.
10) More content surrounding the Kami!
11) Some differences in ability between the races.
12) Some way of actually learning what the graves and other landmarks in groud represent, some way to learn their history.
13) The ability to add friend to a friends list when they aren't online.
14) The same chat improvements that everyone has requested over and over. A racial chat. A world chat. A roleplay chat. Chat from each region colored differently.
15) A map system that allows for overlays of bookmarks. So I can have an overlay of mission mats, one for npcs, one for regular mats.
