EE Events Team - you Rule!

I think the multiple threads concerning the need for improving events speak loud enough about the event team.

I think you miss the point of my thread entirely

We have the biggest response on our events boards by far. That is down to the events team and the encouragement they give to the players to arrange their own events. Ergo - we have the best events on our server WITHOUT QUESTION. The stats speak for themselves.

I feel like poking you in the eye with a blunt object (in the nicest and friendliest way possible, of course ) for your nasty closing comment. I don't want negatively here thank you. Everyone else who has posted has grasped the mentality behind me starting this thread. We have the best events team period. I wanted to thank them. Nothing else

Actually, the stat comparison you make isn't particularly valid, and while I normally avoid posting on the 'we luv the dev/CSR' threads, is actually what initially prompted me to provide balance to this one. You're comparing apples and oranges with those numbers - other servers generally post just as many events on their main boards as their server boards. We don't. Hence, not a particularly valid reason to get excited. There are lies, damned lies...and statistics. This falls under that realm.

You certainly didn't have a problem trying to cheer rather loudly in threads designed for constructive feedback. I'm returning the favor, and at least I'm trying to be constructive, not negative. You're welcome!

How is pointing out that there are numerous threads on event problems nasty? I really hope the devs and CSRs take them to light; I for one look forward to the next series of events, especially if they're run better, which can only be done if player feedback is taken seriously and they don't start thinking for one minute that other events don't need significant improvement on their end. Telling someone 'they rule' is all nice and good - but if improvement needs to happen (talk about overwhelming statistics - a WHOLE lot more players have posted on ways to improve than have posted here), it's counterproductive except for those who don't seek to improve the game.

I'm done since I have no interest in taking part in a flame war. I find the 'we luv the CSR/devs' posts just as useless as the 'I quit the game sucks' posts. There aren't a lot of us left post-patch 1 who try to provide balance. I do. Enjoy your cheering!

Do you think the CSR/devs team would keep doing events and improvements if all they were told was 'This was wrong in these ways: ...', 'That event sucked!' etc? No, give credit where credit is due - they work hard for this... Constructive critisism is useful, but including the parts that actually worked in your opinion in the post usually works as a boost of morale.

I know for certain that if I was an event planner and everyone afterwards expressed themselves as you do, I would stop, simply because you seem to be too hard to please!

And about hating these threads - you saw the topic before clicking, you could have avoided this thread entirely

First off , my apolagies if you thought i was trying to flame you or start a flame war , that was not my intention . Yes you are entitled to give your opinion's although its forseen that not everybody will agree with you, or me, or indeed anyone else who has an opinion.

You say you respect me ingame which is nice to hear , which brings me to the point i was trying to make , you have the advantage of knowing who i am ingame . I on the other hand have no idea who you are ingame .
Try to think of it in terms of an unsigned document bears no weight or a unsigned check is useless , i have no problems with constructive critisism, indeed it can lead to constructive and open debates. So please add a siggy *hugs*

I agree, the CSR/events team is the best I have ever seen in any game, and they are constantly improving all events. This shows in the rapidly increasing player base on arispostle, you cant help but notice it in matis nowadays

And thanks for the gratitude on events guys, but to be honest I couldn't have done any of them without the terrific support of the CSRs

All criticism is either passed on the devs or taken to heart as appropriate, and all constructive criticism is welcomed unequivocally.

And please remember, if you have an event idea talk to the events team – by being involved you can help to make Arispotle events better and better and contribute in a positive and exciting way to everyone’s playing experience!

Why actually, organizing events on EE hsa never been a prob, I believe kibs has always had the required CSR support for her events

Actually, I believe the other servers also have a CSR team, and the "move topic" button isnt here for the dogs to use, they wouldnt know how to handle it.

I have attended many of these events and they totally rock. You will always have some "sour grapes" along for the ride, bored and *****ing, but it just goes to show you that regardless of how many whiners are crowing, they can't and don't ruin the fun for the rest of us. (You know who you are) I have enjoyed each and every one, the teamwork is amazing. This server is so much fun for me, I live in the states and I have met and played with people from all over the world, it is wonderful to say the very least. The events bring us all together and as someone said, we become "one" when that happens, same goals, same hopes, and FUN. Keep up the fantastic work Events Team, you do indeed rule!!!
