path not found for bremenb.ttf

i says what the title says. i have just been running my avast anti virus, and i told it to delete everything(that are infecetd of course) and now it says that, so i think that that file was infected. any help on how to get a new one?? or do i need to reinstall??

A reinstall is likely the only way you're going to get it back.

Also if anything else is missing, a reinstall will cover it

ok, thanks but i have found an easier way. when you press the uninstall program, instead of pressing uninstall, just press modify and and choose main app. hope it helps, and it gets into a sticky if it isnt already.

Just had this happen myself. In game bug was the initial cause. I was in Dew Drops on the long peninsula bit thats covered in water but you are still stood up, not swimming. Taunted a ragus from his group, he attacked and could hit me, I just got the "you cannot use an action while swimming" msg. I ran to the North to "dry" land, turned and attacked again. Same msg. I have had it happen once before and all I did was go into the water and back out and that fixed it. So into the water, swim, go back to land. Still the same msg, no matter what I tried.

Ok, I'll log out and back in. I even waited the 30 secs for it quit. Tried to run the game and got the font error. Checked windows/fonts folder aha a shortcut to Bremen Bold BT, right clicked, selected properties. Error, windows cannot find Ryzom\data\bremenb.ttf

Googled for bremenb.ttf found this thread etc. Went for banewolfs option. YUK!! Its just another way to run recover. Major patching time 220mb Its still patching as I type, two hits down on google is the font as well (not sure if its the exact same one tho) but I also found it on cd2 in data2.cab.

Call me simple but if the ttf file is just copied to data dir it must fix it? No need to go the patch route.

If so, maybe this file can be made available on the website (not everyone owns the cds)? Just a thought and possibly a lot simpler solution to the problem.

try searching on these forums for total commander to find a better way to patch your client when it's broken
