Hidden Source respawn woes.

The trek through the Hidden Source is a dangerous one. The very strong or the very clever can make it through to Tylin's Gate, and it is there that the trek changes from dagerous to nearly suicidal.

A new tribe of fanatical disciples have taken up residence in Tylin's Gate. This, in addition to the torbak and kitin packs that were already there virtually ensure the incapacitation of even a large, highly trained team.

..but all of that we could handle. There seems to be a bug with the respawn when a homin is killed in the Hidden Source. It has happened to me twice now that if I am killed in Tylin's Gate, I will be automatically spawned either near the PR portal, or in Yrkanis. I don't get a repawn timer, or a map to choose my respawn point.

Again, I am forced to ponder...WTF?

Is this a bug, and if so, is there a way to avoid it?
Or is this some sort of feature to try and make a difficult run even more challenging?
I honestly hope it is the former, because the later would demonstrate a development team that is woefully out of touch with it's player base.

(Yes, I did submit a bug report. No I haven't heard anything back. Yes, it has happened to more people than just me.)

This bug has to do with being killed by a bandit boss and friends. Same thing happens when killed by Aen near Dyron.
