I agree this is definitely a situation where there should be more information given. I think the stir this incident has caused should warrant a thorough explanation of "how and why" from Nevrax on both how the bulk was allowed to be so large and why they want tickets to have a bulk at all. I guess this isn't quite official, but in game GM said this change was intentional. Also, the MotD now says tickets are bulk .5, but says nothing about changing it.

So it looks like an uncommunicated stealth nerf of foraging / crafting imo.
