Re: 10:30pm Census
By all means zzeii, be positive. Feel free to put a positive spin on those numbers. Sadly, I'm not up to the task.zzeii wrote:

Re: 10:30pm Census
Total counted in census: 201 (No distant regions or prime roots) Even if this number is off by half, it is far below the what is needed to make this game financially viable. I don't know the cap the servers are built to handle, but I would imagine it's about 2000. I doubt the projections in the ...

I've cancelled but I'd consider coming back if the game is repaired.

Re: Poll How many people are thinking about dropping ryzom now!?
Cancelled. Not just because this patch is horrible, but because of the reasoning behind the patch: Nevrax made the game more difficult so that people wouldn't progress faster than their projected story timeline allowed. Yes, they'll be patching the patch, but I still feel like the players are the ...

Re: one midget's opinion
again, the devs have a long term goal, i believe they have an 8 year plan if i read right. to all you folks who are level 150-250 in a skill in 2 months, do you not see the problem here? step back, think about it, and you may just see that this HAD to be done Are you implying that every time some ...

Re: Stop complaining....
so, like the title of the thread says , stop complaining and get on with it :) "'...get on with it?" This is not a job , nor, as one person laughably compared it to, a marriage (oy...) it's a *game*. If I'm playing, say, basketball, and after I've started they change the rules to allow tackling ...

Re: Poll How many people are thinking about dropping ryzom now!?
Why don't you guys think of this as an actual challenging game now, and not the cheese-fest we feel sorry for ourselves over cause we don't have it anymore. HEY! I was paying for and enjoying the tasty cheese-flavoured version of Ryzom. Guess I think 'challenging' tastes like tough, leathery steak ...

Re: A realistic perspective to keep in mind
With the changes to harvesting in patch 1, I think it's important to keep a basic idea in mind -- if the game was like that to begin with, it would never have been an issue. *sigh* No, there would have been no issue, because I wouldn't play such a difficult, frustrating and unrewarding game in the ...

Re: Wonderfull game... or was..
Some thoughts: Harvesting is just not fun anymore. I thought something was wonky even though I knew there had been a patch, so I did a little test: 26 attempts at extraction in-town, with 5 succesful harvests. IN-TOWN. And that's the ones that allowed me to harvest, because even though I was ...
