Re: Ryzom will not load...
Are you by any chance using Norton Internet Security? I had a similar problem, despite having ryzom excluded in the firewall it still blocked the program. I had to disable internet security while the game booted. After that re-enabled and it worked fine. I use the past tense as I have now given up ...

Re: Stop complaining.......
Thats right, thats because its the operators who should be suggesting how you upgrade a system and not the engineers. The engineers should only do the work, not the design. True and we do but each operator has their own opinions on what they want. In the end you just have to use your professional ...

Re: Stop complaining.......
I'm an engineer, every time we put a new feature on some equipment or a new button to press the operators whine like old women for weeks. Usually the ones who have been using it the longest because they're used to it and stuck in their ways. After a few weeks though they've learnt how to use it ...

Ryzommers Anonymous
My name is lord Bean and i'm a Ryzomolic.
I thought I'd start this thread to offer councelling to all the poor little Homins who are distressed by the unexpectedly long (AND UNNACCEPTABLE DAMMIT! DAMMIT! UNNACCEPTABLE! WAAAAAGH!) outage of the Ryzom servers.
Please, share. I'm here to help.

Re: Access Violation exception
I had the same problem, the game would crash at least every 10mins. In my case I found it to be a dodgy memory stick. If your still having problems go to http://www.memtest86.com/ and download the tester program. This will thoroughly test your memory, not like the poxy test given at boot.
