It didn't turn out to be such a big deal in the end. The real obstacle was the larger files, and in getting them in one shot without disconnecting. It took a few tries but I got them.

I'm on dialup, but I managed to reel in the 1.5 gig install file over several days. I expected some patching, but I'm a bit confused by what I've encountered. The launcher checks to see what needs to be patched, and then shows me some optional files that I may choose to omit. After doing so, I'm ...
