This sounds similar to what affects me.
I get in okay after a reboot, but once it's hung quitting and reconnecting doesn't ork, I have to reboot

Before today's patch I git a 'Please Wait...' box up, that didn't go away after 5 minutes. I tried quitting and reconnecting, box appeared immediately after starting up. Rebooted and all the usual stuff. After patch I managed to get about 20 minutes, and back to same problem. Anyone got any ideas ...

Any ideas how long it will be down ?

I was at the story telling, it was just about to start, then the 'Please Wait' message came up, and nothing since then. Just quit and getting the shard error too.

I'm from sunny Scotland and playing Xarous, a Fyros Male focussing mainly on Combat just now, but planning to switch to magic at some point.
