""*graphics, the best for this generation of pc hardware!"" what are you retarded?? the games graphics look they are a year old already. Yes, I am retarded, because my opinion differs from yours. Obviously this must mean I suffer from a mental deficit and am incapable of higher thinking. Save me ...

Re: How do you compare this game to other MMORPG's like Anarchy Online.
::grins:: You need to go back and re-read my last post, Omnio. A lot of those questions are already answered there. Yes, specific parts of your body can take damage, and taking too much damage to a specific part will result in various side effects. Head - stuns. Bad, bad for a spellcaster. Arms ...

Re: How do you compare this game to other MMORPG's like Anarchy Online.
Ok but what about making your character better. In AO we have tons and tons of skills and abilities that we can invest points into(points we get each level). These skills make our character totally unique, not just health, magic points, stamina, strength etc. We are limited to how much points we ...

Re: How do you compare this game to other MMORPG's like Anarchy Online.
The thing about mobs in this game, is that they come in packs/herds/groups. There's almost always a whole lot of them at a time, and a lot of them social aggro. If you're having trouble finding mobs, you're not moving. And in Prime Roots (200+ skill area, by the way. 250 skill is cap), you don't ...

Re: How do you compare this game to other MMORPG's like Anarchy Online.
Hmm, well. To note, I have never played any of those three mentioned MMORPG's, save for EQ which I played very little of (and have no desire to play more). I like Ryzom stylistically and for the proposed story more than anything. It is those things that drew me to AC2, which they have done nothing ...

Re: Ranged Weaps Comparison
I'll have to go in-game to be certain, but I see no difference between pistol/bowpistol. I can craft both, as well as the rifle. I can only craft pistol ammo however (and yes, pistol ammo works with bowpistols), so I am unable to test the effectiveness of my rifle as of yet. I don't much care for ...

Re: As if the Tryker mat woes were not enough!!!
Stygeon put that rather well in my opinion. Over in DragonRealms we don't even have full time devs, and what devs we do have are NOT payed for their work. They just love the game that much. One thing they've done recently is to poll the guilds about what things they want to see above all others, and ...

Re: Meet the Guilds Night and Fashion Show!
Seeing as this event is now over, does anyone have some pictures and commentary to provide? As a young Zorai I've been pondering what choices I have guild-wise (one of those small guild individuals, personally) as well as simply wondering who else I have out there to hang out with. Come on people ...

Re: How does combat work Please?
Combat is much like Everquest. Find a foe to engage and watch your character swing away (at least for the lower levels, I know it gets better once you've acquired more abilities). User skill doesn't have all that much to do with things in my opinion. I believe the game can only be downloaded by ...

Re: High points? Low points? What makes you love/hate the game?
Well, I went out and got my copy and have managed to do some playtesting. Current thoughts are as follows... Difficult to learn initially. It does need a bit more direction and assistance to start, as I spent more time than I'd like trying to figure things out when I first started. Once I did pick ...
