Re: The Science of Atys

I am not sure the Kami would need to manipulate nature to create a new animal... Matis would and does, but I am beginning to think that the Kami might be able to create from scratch. Perhaps they are the physical manifestation of the Ryzom (if the Ryzom is a terraforming machine/computer which does ...

Re: The Science of Atys

Great idea about the Yubo and the Frippo. But, I think it makes more sense that the Kami created the Frippo to keep the Matis from using their Magics to transform Fleeting Garden. It is said that the Matis tried to tame Fleeting Garden by building walls, and the Kami put a stop to that. The Frippo ...

Re: The Science of Atys

Hmm, I like this theory. Artificially igniting a gas giant to provide the energy for a teraforming planet. Science fiction at it's best ;) [Already been done, the whole 2001-3001 Arthur C. Clarke series. Fusion was initiated on Jupiter to allow for life to develop on Europa.] [Oh, I just got the ...

Re: Sunken City

I would like to see a cost in dapper for doing this...I will happily try to raise the amount (I think I would have many donations just so people can see something happening). I will even be happy to pay the amount to either workers or those who choose to admin the reconstruction. [I'll pay the ...

Re: The Science of Atys

Yes, I have done quite a bit of astronomy...sitting for days and watching the sky, I did so before coming up with any theories. The sun does not appear to wobble, but as I said, it may just be too slow or too fast or even to slight to be noticed by the homin eye. After reading the theories of others ...

Re: The Science of Atys

Oh, I like the mirror idea... Perhaps, it is something artificial. I will have to observe some more and see what other ideas I can come up with, or find further support for one of those ideas mentioned. Thank you all for the input. Please let me know if you find any other expainations for features ...

Re: Sunken City

I thought it was a tryker city because it has the tops of the bubble shaped buildings they mold sticking out of the ground... as well as pieces of walkway like they have running from building to building... (But, now that I am thinking about it, the Matis mold bubble shaped buildings as well). I ...

Re: The Science of Atys

The Solar System Theory UNOBSERVED: There should also be a wobble in the sun through the day, depending on the mass of the blackhole verses the mass of the sun and the distance between the two, of course it would be one wobble per day cycle so it may not even be noticable without more precise ...
