Could the cause of the crash be antivirus or firewall software? I got NOD32 antivirus and I did disabled and unloaded all it's scanning funtions before starting Ryzom. That caused Ryzoms network socket or something to crash silently. Game disconnected every 1,5 hours. And my ADSL-modem needed to be ...
