So at the end of the day, I just ask myself "why fight it?" If this is the nature of the game, catering to Faction vs Faction, pvp + politics, with goodies ...

Well iam glad that Ryzom has made you a better person. :) it has also helped me understand how people think and act under different situations,and in saying that i guess,has helped me in RL at times.ill always think of Ryzom as the top of MMos .One thing is for sure ,ya wont get a better community ...

well i must have my head up my arse....there are no real factions in atys...sure there used to be , but that stoped years ago....now its all just allies and the like ...throw the story line out the window..it doesent happen...just get a lifetime sub and all will be just dandy.....ROFL.

You are entering the game during a transition phase. We just got hit (in a very good way) with changes that affect, and will likely increase heavily, PvP. Take a look at other recent forum posts, particularly the latest release post, for more info. What a lot of crap , this person will be wondering ...

forget PvP ..its dead...not many peep are into it these days , crafting harvesting and general game play is great ...but if ya into PvP , play another game.most of the PvPers have all but left the game, sad but true.
