What about a system like ac2 had, healers could remove dp once they got high enough, for instance once a healer becomes lvl 200 or so he gains a spell that can remove the dp from someone.

Dp in ryzom is actually pretty lax... I'm currently playing eq2 and boy does it's dp system make ryzom look like childs play. For starters, groups share dp, so if your buddy dies everyone in the group shares the dp, get a 6 player wipe and your dp is up pretty high, not to mention even a 10% dp ...

Just curious? did you run the ryzom_recover util? I've had 2 ati 9800pro systems running this game flawlessly with driver rev's of 4.8 onwards.
