Well, if you have a firewall (aka windows built in one for XP), just turn it on, and open the router up from ports 1024 on up. Make sure your router has a very good password set on it. Also consider replacing your Linksys router with something else. I replaced my Linksys with a D-Link and now both people in my house can play together for hours and hours without any disconnects.
