3. Is there a way to switch to the chat input box with a keyboard command? Or is clicking on the box the only way? Pressing [ENTER] will change keyboard focus to the chat window. Pressing [ESC] will return keyboard focus to the game shortcuts. You can also access emotes by /name of emote - action ...

Those are the names for Light, Medium, and Heavy armor. Matis, I believe.

Ranged combat was certainly one of the factors that drew me to Ryzom. Initially, I intended to play a primarily ranged character. Unfortunately, I discovered fairly quickly this was not a viable option.

*snip* As for 'snipe' skill and hiding suggestion... Hmm Should have recommended 'H' key for hiding and 'O' for sniping :D I bet u know what i mean lol. I don't think snipe skill or hiding skill are necessary, i would rather want an ability to fire more rapidly or to get a stanza to fire more than ...

Slashing goes through kipee armor, so does blunt. It does resist piercing, but not as much like gingo does slashing, for reference. Of course, there's always that ignore armor, but the stam usage.. But yeah, plants have a habit to resist just about anything except blunt. That's fairly counter ...

The system lorgerol describes is particularly useful for directing other people to the resource location.korin77 wrote:Since resources usually occur in large fields, I just put a marker around the center of that field and label it. Just got a message in-game that the shard was going down in 5 min. Lots of lag and rubberbanding for a few min before that.
