Re: Ideas for not leaving the game after being lvl 250 for a while ?
New content is the only progression, or alternatively, change of content. Things have to CHANGE in a game or anyone will get bored. I've played lots of MMO's and every now and then you find one with some really good ideas, only most of them failed as the overall game had flaws. An eg is Horizon, it ...

Re: How to avoid burn out in any game - Ryzom in particular!
I'm mostly bored also, even tho I really like the game. I dont agree that the players are 'making the story' because nothing we do actually permanently changes anything. Six months ago gingos were waiting for me outside Yrk, today they are still waiting only now I kill them. The issue here is game ...

Re: Abyss of Ichor
It is a skill you learn, getting through Prime Root areas. The reward is max dp and several tp tickets. To be successful you need the following: Patience (sitting still for 10-20 mins at a time waiting) Good vision range on your setup, so you can see holes as they appear in the mobs. Good pattern ...

Re: Targetting, ranged weapons and other strange stories...
Ammo is the biggest complaint i have. I wieghs too much/I cant carry enough... same thing really. I can carry about an hours play worth of ammo, if I was on a big hunt with a group of friends it simply isnt long enough. Create plans for bigger ammo clips if you want, but increase the amount of ammo ...

Re: Your Feedback
Can we get a global LookingForGroup option.
I play from australia and often there is no one on in my areas. Finding a group would mean a lot of travel and be very expensive.
Other games have this feature and I would find it very useful.

Re: Dungeons
I would like to see 'dungeons' in some form or another, appropriate to the setting. Certainly Kitin nests (ala starship troopers - the book not the movie) would be an obvious choice. As too might be bandit dens. Other dungeons might be previous civilisations of this world, after all we are new here ...

Re: Your Feedback
There needs to be more individualism of look and skills, people need to feel unique. In other games this is done with loot, you kill God X and get his sword etc etc. In Ryzom this can be done with mats from important or rare mobs, or quests, or via secret recipes etc etc. The mats need to be able to ...

Re: Event time Poll
Being in Australia I would love to see 9am GMT as the usual time....
Ideally the best option is day to two day long events that allow all time zones to participate.

Re: Where's the Zorai community??
It seems a bit strange to say "I want to be left alone and anon" when the first name I given when I ask who makes amps is.... Petej, Sky, Neun! (now that Decoy is gone, sob). You are kidding yourself guys (and I say this in a nice friendly manner) if you think you can hide. Your guild mates tell on ...

Re: key pressing maniac
I wasnt totally serious about the heal-link idea, hence the Buffy comment. I was serious about the problem of over-use of the keyboard. Perhaps a little creative effort needs to be put into thinking about how you can do the same job with less keystrokes, or varied keystrokes. I use to be a ranger in ...
