do you already have tried to disable shaders in Ryzom (and maybe in wine) ? if ryzom config does not want to run, then add/change ... -- DisableVtxProgram=1; DisableTextureShdr=1; -- ... to client.cfg file. i know that you have nvidia and my nvidia works with shaders, but my ati crashes right after ...
