Re: What magically perfect game...?

"On the technical side of things, FFXI was magically perfect for me... I'm dead serious, notice. Ryzom on the other hand is um... buggy as a Roach Motel. " FFXI was out in Japan way before the U.S. launch. I would hope that FFXI was less buggy. Unless you're talking about playing the import upon its ...

Re: THE KITINS ATTACK!

Sounds like they aren't going to announce these before they happen which I think is a good idea. These sorts of invasions should be unnannouced. Adds to the suspense in the game.

Re: Thanks Nevrzx! :)

I love this game. It does alot of things right and I can't wait until other things are added once the game is stable. If the game is this good now, just wait until additional content is added. I play COH and love that game too. Can't even compare the two. COH is simple compared to something like ...

Re: Cool moments so far?

Walking through the Eye of Intuition camp and getting attacked by 6 of the guys. Then as I was laying there, dead, Icon worshippers came and wiped out the camp. If I wasn't dead I would've shook all their hands.

Down with the Eye of Intuition. Long live the Icon worshipers :)

Re: Reasons to continue

Guess our characters will be able to handle anything by the time patch 2 is released :) I really think I will like the story. The game has a lot of puzzles - NPC groups/factions around, how the planet works, the relationship between the flora/fauna with the planet in general, the Kami and their ...

Reasons to continue

Let me start by saying that I like the game so far. But that being said it won't take long to be somewhat repetitive. I think a couple of things that will be a deciding factor for me continuing to play are: 1) Missions: I love missions. I like the goals and focus on story. I can't think of many, if ...

I thought Strength gave you more stamina. Like 50 points more.

Re: Review of Ryzom after two weeks of play: The Good and the Bad...feel free to discuss

I like the game alot. I agree with many posters who say that the game has great potential. Graphics: Love the graphics. This world is far more alive than most of the MMORPGs out there. The lag is bad though and I can't wait until they get the servers more stable or beefed up. Sound: I don't have any ...

Re: Shard going down

The good news about this is that, though the server seems to go down around the same time each night, It is usually back up in minutes.

Order of leveling

It seem that it might be a good idea to level to 30, either mainland or island, before really putting much training in crafting. Because at 30 it seems that you can take on more difficult mobs which in turn give you better quality mats. Right now I am 23 melee and it seems like it takes forever to ...
