Re: Good Riddens!!!
Good riddens? You mean, "good riddance?" Main Entry: rid·dance Pronunciation: 'ri-d&n(t)s Function: noun 1 : an act of ridding 2 : DELIVERANCE, RELIEF -- often used in the phrase good riddance Perhaps you need to log off ryzom and go back to school. I could spell that word when I was about 6 years ...

Re: You want content, then tell the tales.
Most people I have met in MMO's are not roleplayers. I used to play AD&D and that is fun, however, in an online game when I say I want "content" I mean I want a new zone to explore, a new creature Ive never seen before to bite my butt and I have to figure out how to defeat it, not merely the whack-a ...

Re: Impressions of Chapter 1 from ATS: of special interest to those who forage.
Guild members often sell their mats instead of giving it to someone who needs because of two factors, instant cash and hassle of handing it to the other members. This will probably continue to happen so there will always be a supply of mats. . That actually might happen even *more* often now ...

Re: Impressions of Chapter 1 from ATS: of special interest to those who forage.
That is certainly true, but around 70-90% of all things crafted *are* trash meant for exp and immedient sale to the NPC. Quality items will still depend mostly on foraging, but the vast maiority of items crafted is just for training porpuses. For which basic-fine mobmats will do just fine. One ...

Re: Impressions of Chapter 1 from ATS: of special interest to those who forage.
Commentary on foraging and the merchant "solution" -- How many people forage and dont craft? Ok now how many of those people are not in a guild with someone that needs the mats? And of the people left after those two cuts, how many people are still going to forage to sell mats into the new merchant ...

Re: Whoa....Just realized something...Comments please...
Those that see using vendors as an answer to the quantity of mats available for crafting I *think* are overestimating the percentage of people who do nothing but forage all day only to sell, and dont either craft themselves or know a guildie that crafts and needs them. We shall see though! Also, I ...

Re: Patch1 Issues
People are so impatient... calm down, and breathe for a second, geez, the world isn't ending... Back in the days of EQ1 gamers put up with a lot of crap because there wasnt much else on the market. Ryzom doesnt have that luxury with EQ2, WoW and SWG's space expansion being released this month. The ...

Re: Patch1 Issues
Please people, come back and comment on this subject *after* you've spent entire DAYS foraging 2000+ mats and its about 1/5 what you need to make even 10 levels above 100. (not kidding... 400 mats is ONE level) Its not Not NOT!!! about the skill points. Its that exp above q110 gets exponentially ...

Re: Bug report - small warning to crafters - and a complaint
Obviously you just want attention or just to complain. There are harvesters who will sell their mats. I do understand that you want the skill to make the item you wanted. I had thought to give you another way to look at it. Sorry that you feel the need to flame anyone offering a different point of ...

Re: Crafting/Harvesting Crisis
And then - who wants to spend hours doing something tremendously boring so that someone else can level up ... hmmm. Exactly! Those who are stating that it *should* be a guild effort are forgetting a couple things. First of all, harvesting is mostly a solo sport and kind of tedious. It will tend to ...
