I think it is in all of our best interests to give these newcomers a helping hand when they cross over to the mainland. I might actually log in to do that .. Last friday (or thur) I logged in and started harvesting and crafting like normal .. then It hit me .. there was no reason to harvest/craft ...

So, I would have to disagree with your opinion that open PvP would be good for Ryzom. I think it would in fact kill the game, which is already struggling against two behemoths, neither of which has offered open PvP in their gameplay. No No .. any true form of PvP would not fit in ryzom .. I never ...

I always find it funny when people throw UO. UO was the first major MMORPG. It is still one of the most complex MMOGs out there. However it never had any of the content so many people complain about. The players made over 75% of the content for the game. The rest was from the GM's and Seers ...

What race? I have not found anything I can make as a Zoria that has more than 12 rounds per clip.

I can make q70 ammo and guns ... Have 37 ranged combat at this point. Launchers are the best damage in the game. q70 ammo has a max damage over 500 and that is also AoE. With patch 1 they lowered the amount of mats needed to make the ammo (it is now 12 not 13 :P ). You get 3 rounds of ammo for 12 ...

After patch 1? Has anyone even tried? Sorry, I don't think I want to be a part of that expirement. I think people are more asking why this is a official event since it goes against many things implemented in the game. I dont think you could fight your way anymore ... Not sure you can even sneak ...
